It was very hot & humid evem though it was only 18 outside & they couldn't open the windows. The little portable A/C was a joke, it took a lot away from the experience. Food was fair but mimosa's are way overpriced.

La cuisine était excellente! Jamais je n'ai goûté quelque chose avec autant de saveur! La jeune dame qui nous a servis était très joyeuse & était d'une gentillesse profonde. Le service était presque parfait, le seul petit détail qui clochait était le plus important. C'était le temps d'attente des repas. Il était quand même long. De plus, selon moi, il manquait d'ambiance. Il n'y avait pas de musique, ou si il y en avait, elle n'était pas forte car je ne l'entendais pas. Mais sinon, le Sacré bistro de l'Abbaye d'Oka est une place que je recommande grandement.

Service was ok but some extra were not explicitly mentioned while taking the order (asking if we wanted cheese on our potatoes without saying that it would increase the Benedictine price by 20% ...) the extra was mentioned at the end of the menu but nothing close to the Benedictine description. Not an ethical (nor legal) practice.

Merveilleuse expérience culinaire. Nous n'avons pas souvent mangé un repas aussi délicieux, pour les papilles & les yeux.En début PM, le propriétaire fût disponible pour nous a faire visiter l'abbaye... en passant par les cuisines nous avons noté une propreté exemplaire & des chefs souriants préparant les ingrédients pour les repas du soir. Nous avons été marcher dans les sentiers autour de l'abbaye, c'est un lieu enchanteur à quelques minutes du parc national d'Oka.
