Claiming to be the birthplace of poutine, it stands to reason that their menu is heavily stacked with all sorts of poutines. They're very good, but I wouldn't call them astounding. My wife enjoyed her glass of the house white wine (a Sauvignon Blanc from France). I was less than impressed with their beer selection (Budweiser & Bud Light).

Très bon! J'ai commander la poutine traditionnelle comme elle a été conçus avec le fromage en dessous. La sauce était un peu trop sucré, mais ça rentrait bien pareil. La vieille a la caisse était un peu lente mais très gentille.

Similar to other reviews, we were excited about eating at the place that supposedly created poutine, only to get a very sweet gravy that was pretty mediocre. Too much ketchup in it. The place looks great, the club sandwich & guedille as well, but disappointing classic poutine.

Nous avons pris un hamburger fromage & un hamburger au poulet griller! C'est quand-même bon. mais à chaque fois qu'ont y va il y a des erreurs dans notre commende malgré qu'à l'heure qu'ont y va il ne a pas beaucoup de monde!!

Great diner !

I ordered the sandwich du roy à la viande fumée, & my bf & daughter split the large original poutine.

We had more than enough food & even had leftovers.

The smoked meat was tender & full of flavour & the poutine was delicious. It was interesting to see how poutine were originally served with the cheese under the fries.
The Orange Jucep was very good as well.

The staff was extremely friendly & knowledgeable.
