I'd give this place zero stars if I could. There are plenty of small businesses in Saint-Lambert that actually deserve your support, & this isn't one of them.
For context, I lived in this building for four years & there were never any issues, everyone was always cordial & respectful. That makes the owner's behavior stand out even more as completely unacceptable. Not only is he rude, dismissive, & completely lacking respect for the community & its long-standing members, but the way he handled a parking situation with a neighbour was shockingly disrespectful. What should have been a simple, civil interaction was unnecessarily escalated for no reason, showing a complete lack of basic decency & consideration. To make matters worse, there has been no attempt to rectify the situation or offer any apology to the multiple neighbours he has upset.
It's embarrassing to see someone run a local business with that kind of entitlement & disregard for others. Save yourself the frustration & go literally anywhere else. Spend your money somewhere it's actually appreciated, not here. & don't bother going to Webster Café either as it's owned by the same person, so expect the same level of disrespect.
I'm appalled to hear that the management & staff of Riverside have been causing issues within the community & its locals. I would hope that a local business would take into account its surroundings & the respect of the people that have been living in the community much longer. Surrounding cars with recycling bins, just to send a message, is an unprofessional response to a matter that could have been handled with more civility. Especially when it affects a pregnant resident just trying to access her car. I hope that the owners & staff decide to take action & rectify this situation. In the meantime, I would recommend taking your business over to Pistache & L'échoppe.
J'adore ce café! Chaque fois que je vais à Saint-Lambert j'en profite pour y faire un arrêt. Ça sent divinement bon, c'est délicieux (les viennoiseries 😍) & le lieux est très agréable. (Gros coup de coeur pour l'image de marque aussi, wow!)
Le quartier est aussi très beau & sympathique - parfait pour prendre un café pour emporter & prendre une petite marche! ☀?

Le personnel est toujours gentil & conseil très bien quand on veut essayer quelque chose de nouveau!

Superbe café avec un personnel dynamique! Vraiment une belle découverte, le café est bon & les viennoiseries sont fraîches & gourmandes. Impossible de partir sans en prendre une…ou deux 😅

Greatest palmier ever! The perfect balance between crunchy & moist, loved it. My kid had a croissant & my husband the cheddar scone, both were also delicious. Our mochacinos were very good as well. Even though the space is small it was very cozy. We loved our afternoon coffee.
The quality of their fig bread was very poor, it wasn't chewy at all. I wouldn't recommend it. The mocha was just average; it was a bit sweeter than usual &, unfortunately, served a bit cold even though I had asked for it hot.
