Le RAVITO, ce doit être un endroit tout autant pour prendre un café ou un verre de vin. C'est le meilleur des deux mondes, que ce soit pour travailler, étudier dans une ambiance chaleureuse à toute heure de la journée, intérieur comme extérieur sur notre terrasse !
Le Ravito est une adresse conviviale où l'ambiance chaleureuse et le cadre cosy invitent à passer un bon moment, que ce soit pour un café en journée, un apéritif ou un dîner entre amis. Le service est attentif et efficace, le personnel sympathique et les échanges faciles, et le rapport qualité-prix est remarquable avec des portions généreuses et une carte variée incluant tapas, tartares, arancini à la truffe et plats réconfortants. Les propositions de vins et de cocktails sont bien choisies et accompagnent parfaitement les repas, avec des options véganes et des desserts qui font sensation comme le cheesecake basque. L'ambiance peut être calme en journée et plus festive en soirée, notamment lors des soirées tacos à volonté le mercredi, et l'endroit est aussi apprécié pour sa terrasse et son cadre propice aux rencontres, aux clubs de lecture et aux sorties entre amis.
Loved the vibe at Ravito when I swung by on Saturday. The particularly lovely barista stood out for her bright friendliness & my drink was excellent. Will recommend for visiting friends.
Amazing hidden gem, atmosphere was great, seating was comfortable, staff was amazing, drinks alcoholic & not were also amazing, will definitely be going back & recommend. Be aware it is a limited menu, so definitely check ahead !
Cute concept. & could be really well executed but huge miss as we waited an hour & 20 minutes for our food. We arrived at noon on Sunday - & we didn't get to eat until 1:20.
The server was apologetic, for no fault of hers. It was just her & another cook. Quickly checking out the kitchen, its a small desk with no capacity (it seems) to serve the food being offered with any sort of efficiency. For example, one of the meals offered a fried halloumi component but no deep fryer was seen. My meal (shakshouka) came with the egg stuck to the bottom, the protein so hardened it had turned green. Great location, otherwise & really perhaps better suited as a buvette? Definitely a hands down for the meals.
Super ambiance, joli décor & très bonne cuisine ! Les arancini à la truffe étaient vraiment délicieux. Je reviendrai avec plaisir pour tester la carte des cafés & le menu du midi.
I've given this place two chances with different groups & did not feel positively about either visit.
They do have a beautiful terrace in a great location. As I was coming with some friends, I made a reservation indicating in the notes we wanted'a table on the terrace'. To further confirm, I visited in person the morning of our reservation again reiterating we wanted a table on the terrace & that I had indicated it in my reservation. The person working took the note down & said that would be fine! I was pleased. When we arrived, the terrace was full. I asked the waitress & said we had a reservation on the terrace & she said'we don't take reservations for the terrace'. That's fine, but can you share that information with all of your staff?? Or make a note in your reservation portal? We had to wait 15 minutes - again it's okay.
We came for the all you can eat tacos. One of my friends is pregnant so she requested no mayo on her tacos. They brought out tacos with mayo for two orders. Only on the third order did they finally get it right & put no mayo. On top of this, we had to ask for napkins, cutlery & water many times before getting it. In fact, we never did get the cutlery. Did not feel this went smoothly at all.
On another occasion, I decided to give you a second chance as I wanted to try the $1 oyster evening. We sat on the terrace, ordered the oysters & beer. When the waitress came with the oysters, it seemed like she accidentally nudged our glasses & spilled beer all over my boyfriend. We didn't say anything, but she basically blamed him, saying it was his shirt that must've pulled the table down. Didn't even offer to replace the beer & he sat in wet pants for the rest of the evening. Eventually another waitress brought a pint to replace his, but never replaced mine which also fell. We found it so weird that she blamed him for the beer spilling. We of course didn't blame her, accidents happen! That just ruined the evening.
Honestly the servers gave me'mean girl' vibes both times. Hope the service improves because it has the potential to be a great place in the neighbourhood.
Pleasant corner resto with patio & intriguing kitchen (see photo). Great server. Tables on the patio too close for comfort, especially if your neighbour is a pretentious airhead convincing her date that he shouldn't get his expectations up about the rest of the evening.
Quel charmant endroit! J'ai été servie par Cloé, la talentueuse barmaid. Elle connaît ses drinks comme le fond de sa poche & savait me recommander les meilleurs agencements selon mes goûts! J'ai aussi pris des arancinis qui étaient délicieux! Un coup de coeur!

I got the Turkish eggs & a glass of white wine. Both were great.
The menu was in French & I admittedly didn't realize I was ordering Turkish eggs, aka a bowl of garlic yogurt with toppings. So I was surprised but overall pleased with the dish. Though I typically wouldn't order it. 😅
The outdoor seating area is tranquil & nice. I fell in love with the surrounding neighborhood.
Je recommande l'endroit plus pour prendre un verre au lieu d'aller prendre un café. Les meubles sont maganés & les planchers sont sals. Il y avait une odeur de mal propre. L'endroit est sombre. Le café est correct, mais le service ne vient pas d'un barista.
