cafe(69) coffee(68) latte(19) chocolate(19) cozy(18) drink(16) shop(16) matcha(14) vibe(12) cappuccino(12) pastries(12) ice cream(11)I ordered tea, there were no mugs available, only papercups, it ruined the taste of the tea. I tried the giant oreo, it was dry & not fresh, I had to throw it. The tables aren't clean & full of breadcrumbs & food waste. Chairs are very uncomfortable as if they are telling you to take your food & leave, don't sit for long.
I find that the food was never so great & the coffee I had was extremely bitter (I am not usually a picky coffee drinker). I came here as I had a lot of work that I needed to get done before my appointment that was nearby. So I bought my $5 bitter coffee only to then be told that I can't have my laptop out :( It would have been nice to know this as their tiny sign that they have on only 1 of the tables is not noticeable at all. I felt like I wasted my time & money. Just added to the stress I already had that day.
Good atmosphere but a little bit overpriced. $4.90 for a filter coffee.
Such a great combo of old-word cafe & cool Montreal-merch shop! I absolutely loved this place & visited several times on my last trip to the city.
This charming cafe was our favorite in montreal, & we came back a few times to escape the cold. The drinks are great as are the pastries & small dessert items. They have a nice selection of jams, bags, chocolate, etc along the back wall. The baristas were friendly. What really makes this place is the charming decor that fits in nicely with the area
Great nook to have some coffee & pastries. Coffee is solid & their croissants & pain au chocolat are made very well. Quite busy due to local tourism but a nice rest over if you're visiting the old neighborhood!
Here is literally the best hot chocolate you can ever try in Montreal!
