Jolie restaurant style bistro avec une belle terrasse mais 25$ pour un risotto aux morilles correct sans plus mais une portion a peine pour une entrée alors que c'était dans les plats principaux, 20$ pour 5 petites crevettes aux humus. Nous allons beaucoup au restaurant & pour ces prix, on en a plus pour notre argent. Le service était bien. Sur la rue Beaubien près du cinéma Beaubien vous avez le choix & le Elsdale n'en est pas un très bon.
Really great spot to grab lunch! Service was courteous, attentive & prompt. The food is fresh & delicious. One thing I must highlight is their carrot cake on the dessert menu. It's literally the best carrot cake I've had in my entire life. I'm definitely going back again!

Excellent souper avant que de traverser la rue pour se faire une toile au Cinéma Beaubien. Un cadre simple & accueillant & un service tout autant simple & efficace. Délicieux dans l'assiette avec un focus sur des produits de qualité & une emphase sur le goût & la régalade-tellement rare aujourd'hui! Belle carte des vins, même si ce soir là nous avons opté pour d'excellents cocktails. Vivement le prochain film !
Accueil chaleureux, menu délicieux (risotto menthe/pois vert), carte des vins variés & le prix est tellement raisonnable (2 verres de vin + entrée + repas pour +-85$). Un incontournable !

Nous avons adoré notre expérience! Le service est courtois & rapide, le décor est génial, & surtout, la nourriture est absolument délicieuse & sans prétention. À un prix raisonnable, on se régale de plats réconfortants, parfaitement assaisonnés & souvent inventifs! Le beurre composé est absolument décadent, les arancinis sont à tomber à la renverse, le tartare de boeuf est un must & comme dessert, je recommande vivement le millefeuille aux coings. Vraiment, un bel endroit à découvrir! J'y retournerai assurément :)
expérience très agréable. Petit endroit chaleureux, excellent carte. Le service est professionnel mais conviviale & les recommandations solides. Les plats sont bien présenté, sans prétention, avec des explosions de saveur. Côté qualité prix j'ai été agréablement surpris. Ce n'est pas un endroit silencieux, à prendre en compte si vous visez un tête à tête. Il y a de l'ambiance! Je recommande fortement.

I came to Le Elsdale alone & dined at the bar. Everything was delicious, the staff was super nice, & the atmosphere was chic & inviting. They provided me a menu in English & they were so helpful answering any of my questions. The food was flavorful, fresh, & perfectly cooked. I would definitely return next time I visit Montreal!
