This sandwich of smoked beef, introduced to us in the early 20th century by Jewish immigrants from Eastern Europe is made of beef brisket marinated in a unique blend of spices and smoked for long hours. Le Déli du Marché offers several varieties of juicy meat smoked to perfection, skinny, fat or semi to suit your tastes and you can even buy it by the pound. That’s not all! Le cook qui a préparé mon smoke meat ne sait pas couper la viande comme il faut. C'était en partie coupé en grenaille de viande & l'autre partie beaucoup trop épais. Je l'avais demandé X-tra maigre & ce n'est pas ça du tout que j'ai eu. Aucun soin dans son travail. Vraiment décevant au prix qu'il vend ses sandwich aujourd'hui.

Bon service, le smoked meat est très bon! Par contre le ratio pour la quantité de smoked meat dans le club sandwich n'est pas assez élevé pour moi… Moins de laitue plus de smoked meat! Pour le prix, je pense qu'on pourrait être plus généreux, pour un sandwich bien plus gourmand…
Une petit déception, au final j'aurai du acheter pour 25$ de smoked meat & faire le reste à la maison.
Niveau goût à part le goût de'pas assez' je n'ai rien à dire, c'est vraiment bon :)

Tres ordinaire, sandwich froid, j'ai pris le combo (sandwich, frite, boisson fontaine) = 21$ + 3$ petite sauce = 27.60$

Je n'y retournerai pas, il y a des endroits vraiment mieux, pas besoin de les nomme

Great deli inside the market. Lots of seating & fast service. The smoked meat sandwich on rye was perfect with a pickle & side of poutine! Very tasty & filling.

We have been to many smoked meat restaurants, some big, some small, some renowned staples... But we never expected one of the best to be in a random shopping mall market off the highway in Laval. Their Jumbo Smoked Meat Sandwich is one of the most well-prepared, melt-in-your-mouth sandwiches we've ever had. We had trouble holding it, let alone finishing it (we did, but it's very filling). We had ours with medium fat, but there are also other options. The impossible-to-resist fries are excellent as well. Of course, we washed the whole thing down with the obligatory cherry soda. We went specifically for the smoked meat sandwich, but they also have poutine, subs, burgers, hot dogs, & even serve breakfast. They offer catering & have a food truck too! We were very pleasantly surprised at the quality & portion size. We would recommend it to any smoked meat sandwich lover as a must-try.
