This place gets packed & the bathrooms get gross but maybe it's fun earlier on in the night
I simply love le date, everybody is super friendly, all the DJs are awesome. It's literally my favorite bar in Montreal, no where else beats it!! It's just a vibe!! 100% recommend it!!

The bartender is literally the rudest guy I've ever encountered. Will never go back after how awful he treated me & others I saw him treat badly.
The owner is a piece of work. Lies through his fake teeth & harrass residents. Danny Jobin goes on the tele & spread lies like there is NO tomorrow. Signed: the neighbour from HELL according to an interview that Jobin did with Richard Martineau. Safe space for LGBTQ community. They protect their customers to make sure they are comfortable & having a good time. I recommend this place 100%.
Such a fun way to spend a night out! I went on a Tuesday night with 2 friends around 10pm & it was already busy with people singing. The bar had a great atmosphere & felt safe. I recommend sitting by the karaoke stage (thought it is louder) so that you can watch others & sing along. The service was decent & the drinks were good, typical pricing for Montreal. For weekends, it is necessary to make a reservation. There is no fee for participating in the karaoke which is great so you can go as often as you like depending on how busy the bar is. For anyone out of town, this place is great time that must be on the itinerary.
I honestly don't know why this bar is only rated 3.8 stars. I went & met some new friends & probably had the best night ever in Montreal here. Thank you!

Le temps d'attente pour le karaoke est infiniment longue. Les boissons nous coûtaient trop cher pour 6 verres de rhum & coke :( ... nous avons seulement aimé l'ambiance que les clients ont donné dans ce bar.
It wasn't very crowded. When it came time to get a second round of beers, we ended up going up directly to the bar to get it.
Bar guy was not really nice, I paid cash, got the change & was planning to leave something if left. But he immediately said; you are not from here, you have to tip blabla. Quite rude since you don't know what people are planning to do, & asking for tip is rude anyway. Too bad I was so overwhelmed that immediately tipped.
Great night of Karaoke & drinking. Good atmosphere. Recommend getting your song choices in early as it can take some time to get on stage.
Had a wonderful time, staff was friendly. Drinks were the usual price for downtown. My only complaint is paying for the best seats, but being shoved in the front row, 2 feet away from a 5 foot stage, we missed some of the acts mouvements. Best seats would mean, for me, I could see everything & have best access to everything.
AWESOME atmosphere! But very very busy; took 2h for my song, submitted at 10pm, to get called on a Friday night. Get there early!
