Guests consistently mention attentive, friendly service and a staff that strikes the right balance between being helpful and unobtrusive, while the kitchen delivers generous portions and reliably flavorful dishes such as butter chicken, lamb rogan josh, chana masala, paneer starters, and well made naan; the cocktails and wine selection also earn praise. Several comments highlight the value for money given the location, with many noting a refined space, cozy yet sophisticated, and a vibrant atmosphere. Some notes point to dishes that felt milder or less authentic in spice for those seeking bolder flavors, and a few items are described as average compared with the high standard set by the best dishes. The food is excellent especially the chicken 65 which is AMAZING. The choice of wine is wide & interesting. The ambiance was way more classy that I expected & it is a little bit loud.
The Old Port needed that one-of-a-kind restaurant! Going in there is like a free ticket to travel abroad! The food is savory, rich yet delicate. Prepare your palate for it, it can be spicy too!
As for drinks, you can't go wrong. Signature cocktails are very unique, plenty of classic ones too & a bar packed with draft beers! As for the wine list, private importation are at the core & the staff will guide you to match it with whatever you order.
Give it a try, for lunch, for a 5 à 7, an event or a date in the evening! You won't be disappointed.
