I had the butter chicken poutine. It's too sweet & I wouldn't recommend it. The onion bhaji & lamb biryani were decent. Nice atmosphere.

Our first night in Montreal & we found this incredible gastro bar serving my all time favorite combination of Indian food & cocktails. I'm not sure if the crafted cocktails were better or if the fantastic Indian food was the winner. My family had a fabulous dining experience with some of the friendliest service & most flavorful food & drinks we've had in a while. I would highly recommend Le 409 to anyone traveling to Montreal.

What a wonderful Indian restaurant! The ambiance is very chic & the food is delicious. It was not too spicy, it was just perfect. Their garlic naan is really good. Decent prices as well. We will definitely be back!

Un très beau restaurant bien situé dans le vieux Montréal que je vous recommande, si vous aimer la nourriture indienne! Tout étaient excellent... l'accueil, le service, l'ambiance ainsi que la nourriture. C'est sûr que j'y retournerai lors de mon prochain séjour à Montréal :)

Best Indian I've eaten!! Food & service was 10/10. Our waiter JF was so nice & accommodating. Lamb korma & the butter chicken is a must!!

The wife & I decided to try this restaurant tonight after seeing it when walking past the other day. I'm glad we did. Back home in the UK, my go-to Indian meal is a chicken tikka massala. So I tried it at the 409, & it was fantastic. The flavour was different from English tikka massala's, but I thought that it was actually better. My wife had the lamb Korma, & she thoroughly enjoyed her meal as well. The service we had from both our servers (sorry, can't remember there names), was top notch. I liked the little extra piece of hospitality of them taking our coats as we entered the restaurant. It's a small thing, but I liked that.

Food is great, decor is nice, service was fantastic. But dont expect authentic spicy food if you go there. Waiter was nice to warn me, about the food being spicy. In the end, it was not spicy at all. So, in summary, for the average person that may not be used to spicy food. This place is ideal. If you want authentic super spicy, you'll be disappointed. But the food is great regardless
