The food was pretty tasty, but the cauliflower in the Aloo Gobi was undercooked & the Vindaloo was all heat & no flavor. The eggplant, chicken curry, lamb korma were nice enough. The appetizers were tasty, but the Onion Bahjees were just 3 oversized pieces & would be better in a smaller format with more pieces. The Mango Lassis were a bit too thick & heavy on the mango & served in a thin glass, I have had better. The place looks nice, but the music is played too loud & it was hard to have a conversation with someone right in front of me. I don't think I'd pick this place again.
What an amazing place! After a long day of flight cancellations we ended back in Montreal late at night. The manager opened the kitchen back up for us & delivered a phenomenal meal. The meal & staff were both 5 star. Looking forward to returning soon as we have now have found our favorite spot in Montreal!
Our first night in Montreal & we found this incredible gastro bar serving my all time favorite combination of Indian food & cocktails. I'm not sure if the crafted cocktails were better or if the fantastic Indian food was the winner. My family had a fabulous dining experience with some of the friendliest service & most flavorful food & drinks we've had in a while. I would highly recommend Le 409 to anyone traveling to Montreal.
What a wonderful Indian restaurant! The ambiance is very chic & the food is delicious. It was not too spicy, it was just perfect. Their garlic naan is really good. Decent prices as well. We will definitely be back!

Un très beau restaurant bien situé dans le vieux Montréal que je vous recommande, si vous aimer la nourriture indienne! Tout étaient excellent... l'accueil, le service, l'ambiance ainsi que la nourriture. C'est sûr que j'y retournerai lors de mon prochain séjour à Montréal :)
