The Annex, inaugurated in 2023, represents our most recent project stemming from the brewery's expansion. Nestled on the mezzanine above it, The Annex provides a privileged view of the tanks and barrels, creating an atmosphere reminiscent of the prohibition era. The adjacent shop allows for the purchase of our cans and merchandise while offering an ideal tasting room for large groups, where one can savor our freshly brewed beers on-site. Additionally, a smoke house kitchen is available to satisfy enthusiasts of this culinary style. The terraces located on Saint-Paul and de La Commune streets, connected to The Annex, provide a space with a beer garden style.
Overall, L'Annexe BreWskey offers a warm pub-style setting with rustic charm and a welcoming energy, where the brewing process can be observed and a wide range of local and standout beers are on offer. Guests praise the friendly staff and the relaxed vibe, whether indoors or on the terrace, making it a solid spot for groups or a laid-back evening with friends. The beer list is a highlight, with praise for flavor and variety, and the food earns good notes for pub fare such as poutine and nachos that pair well with the drinks. The space works for different moods, with intimate tables, a separate bar area and outdoor seating that also suits families. A casual bar-side setup where orders are placed at the counter keeps the focus on beer and company, contributing to an overall enjoyable experience in Old Montreal.
Yesterday I entered the establishment thinking that I was somewhere I wasn't supposed to be. I encountered an employee who happily directed me where I had to go to purchase their wonderful beer. Like I said gotta support the local economy. Since I was in Old Montreal it was nice to be able to purchase something authentic to enjoy. Everyone working there seems to be pretty happy to boot. It's funny how friendly everyone in Old Montreal is when you're walking around with a chilled 4 pack. I got to near Notre Dame
Ouest & I regret not offering a couple with a nice looking woman exiting a local business. I guess I will be returning to Montreal soon.
Great beer selection in a taproom among a load of brewery apparatus in ye old town.
Nab some snacks as well.
The pub of the same name is right next door & is rather a class gaff as well with a more traditional setting.
Great staff & service.
One of my favorite beers in town was the Malle... a punchy Belgian style.
Sit inside for the brewery vibes or venture out into the covered setting along the street.

Stopped in for a beer & a rest. Unfortunately the annex doesn't do flights, only the main bar which was a real shame. Feel like it would be very simple to extend this into the Annex too. The beer was tasty & plenty of water available too
Great stretch along the old port area in Montreal. An extension of the Bonsecours Market area, there are a couple of connected breweries, some with indoor & some outdoor seating, serving great food & a variety of brewed beers. I love the energy here
This place offers a solid food experience with standout items like the poutine & wings - both were flavorful, fresh, & definitely worth trying. The beer selection is impressive, with a wide variety of local brews on tap. Unfortunately, many of the beers were not as cold as they should be, which took away from the experience a bit.
Be aware: there's no table service - you order at the counter & bring your own food to the table. It's a casual setup, but the seating is very uncomfortable, with hard chairs that make it difficult to relax & enjoy your meal.
One concern: the brewery area didn't look very clean, especially by food safety standards. Nothing alarming happened, but it's something management should definitely address.
Overall, come for the great food & local beer variety, but be prepared for a DIY, no-frills environment.

Did not order food but it looked & smelled delicious! The craft beer was thirst-quenching & a nice break to sit & watch the crowd. I want to come here often as they have so many beers I need to try!
Pros: nice patios for people watching, kids tables available. Good selection of beers. Everyone thought the beef brisket was the best of the sandwiches.
Cons: we went as a large group (9 adults, 2 kids). The kitchen was short staffed (we found out afterwards) & food took over 40 mins. However I wish they had just sent out the sides first instead of waiting until everything was ready. Our salads & poutines were lukewarm. Food overall was okay, but you are paying a premium for the location.

As a craft beer enthusiast, BreWskey has been on the wish list for a while. Since I was actually staying downtown, the time had finally come. We did half pints of the Dark Czech Lager, Pink Roots & Imperial P-Nut Buster. The lager was delicious, but the Oatmeat Stout is going to live on in my dreams. Pink Roots was bright & enjoyable. Decent selection of merchandise & cans- though none of the dark lager or stout. It's a cool spot & you should definitely add it to your visit list.
Nice quiet space. Friendly staff & good selection of beers. The food is a letdown however. The mac & cheese is all mac & no cheese. Dry & bland. $16 for a small portion.

I loved the beers, the staff was very passionate about their job, the waiter knew exactly what he was selling & could explain to us in detail the beers. i ordered number 6 & it was sooo amazing, i am a foodie & smoothie lover & it was just what i needed. i just wish i had this place in my hometown, i will definitely come back!!!
Great spot for a light meal & amazing brews! Delicious sour beers, not too sweet. I was hesitant, but the beer smoothies are really good & interesting. Staff is excellent!
