Incredible experience. Come enjoy the perfect family experience at L'Afghan! Savour our typical Afghan dishes, in a warm atmosphere, distinguished by its quality and delicious taste at the best price! Prayer room available. 100% Halal.
Reviewers collectively describe L'Afghan Grillade as offering generous portions, flavorful dishes, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, with highlights such as an appealing iftar menu during Ramadan, a popular mango lassi, and a range of kebabs, wardak, and kofta. The quality and value are repeatedly praised, and many note thoughtful presentation and robust flavors across different dishes. The staff are frequently described as friendly and helpful, contributing to an overall sense of good service and a family friendly environment, while the ambiance and clean space receive positive remarks. For some, the restaurant's halal practice, prayer room, and accessible pricing add to the appeal, making it a solid option for gatherings. A few reviews mention slower service at busy times or occasional inconsistencies in taste, but these seem outweighed by consistent positives and the sense that portions are generous and the food satisfying. In sum, L'Afghan Grillade appears to be a dependable and popular choice for hearty Afghan cuisine with generous portions, tasty food, and a welcoming vibe, though service speed can vary.
The food was very good overall, although I didn't enjoy some of the flavors. The service was excellent, & the prices are very reasonable. I really liked the mango lassi drink.
First time I am going to give review to restauran. Salwa the way you serve the wardak spacial for delivery is so attractive & tasteful. I really enjoy it. Besides this hats off to the chef how he/she made the amazing wardak special. Unfortunately I didn't take a photo sorry for that. Salwa & the chef both should be awarded by prize from the manager. 😃
Friendly staff , amazing quality, generous portions & sauces, cool displays of beautiful art. Just amazing, it does not get any better than this. I loved the beef ghorma & everything else I tried was top notch.
Yesterday, we went to Afghan Grill as a group of 9 people. When we arrived at the counter, the staff member told us that because we were 9, we could only be seated at a table at the end of the wall & that there would be an extra 15% charge just for sitting there. This felt very strange & unfair.
I told him that it was okay, we could sit separately instead. He then told us that all other tables were reserved, even though there were several empty tables close to each other with'reserved' signs on them. What made the situation even more confusing is that the table he offered us also had a reserved sign on it.
The situation was confusing & made us uncomfortable. It felt unfair, & we were disappointed with how it was handled.
Just to clarify, we did not make a reservation beforehand & simply walked in. There was no reservation for 20 people made by our group. The situation was confusing at the time, & unfortunately the explanation provided does not match our experience
