Guests describe L'Académie as a welcoming, spacious spot with a relaxed vibe and a convenient bring-your-own wine policy. We were served not just one but 2 plates of completely uncooked chicken that was super pink inside for both. So dangerous!! They apologized & brought us new plates after we already took a few bites before realizing. We paid full price. Food took our table about 45 minutes to an hour to arrive & wasnt great. Fettuccine alfredo was very bland just sauce & pasta not much flavour. Fettuccine primevera was really oily I had taken it last time I went & same thing theres way too much oil for my liking & the person who had that plate. Pizza was okay. Waiter was nice & busboy too but overall experience wasnt great.
nous avons ete servie par Maryse, tres bon service de sa part. le bemol toutefois survient au niveau de la nourriture.
nous avons prrit une pizza vege ainsi que le bifteck de cote avec le saumon fumé en entrée.
le saumon fut bon, assez copieux.
la pizza souffrait de pate legerement mal cuite. comme le si le four n'était pas assez chaud, je n'ai pas retrouvé le cote dorée de la pate avec le croustillant. je conseille d'augmenter la temperature du four pour une cuisson plus rapide.
en ce qui concerne le bifteck a 52$, idem, mis a part les marques de grilles, le steak etait gris. j,aurais aimer une cuisson avec une temperature plus élevé afin de permettre une croute à la viande. je suggere de discuter avec le founisseur voir s'ils auraient des pieces de viande epais de minimum 1 pouce au lieu de 3 quarts.
en ce qui concerne l'accompagnement, j,ai sentie des legumes surgelé.
Le service était impeccable. Tout était propre. La durée d'attente n'était pas longue. Très satisfaite. La seule chose c'est qu'il manquait de gout aux légumes
Excellent food, friendly service, beautiful restaurant, but a bit on the noisy side. I highly recommend. Bring your own wine is always a big selling point.

Le repas principal que j'ai mangé était fade. Les légumes goûtaient l'eau.
Soupe à l'oignon excellente & même chose concernant le dessert.
Les bouillons pour les moules (Flamande & Gorgonzola) était vraiment trop salés!!
Merci au proprio/gérant d'avoir essayé de fermer la porte qui créait un courant d'air!

Les entrées étaient très bonnes, mais les plats principaux peu goûteux, sauce liquide... très décevant pour un restaurant qui se qualifie d'italien. De plus, très, très bruyant, difficile de s'entendre parler.
Food quality was horrible. We had to return one of the plates twice because the chicken was visibly uncooked. How can someone get something wrong twice? Obviously theirs lots of carelessness. The waiter was great, you can tell he felt bad, with something like undercooked chicken I would have appreciated the manager coming to apologize. Will never eat there again & certainly not recommend.
We were a group of 8 & served by Maryse. She was awesome, super friendly, polite & was able to roll with the punches because we have a couple of jokesters in the group. Super happy with her service.
From what everyone said, they all enjoyed the food except for myself. I had the chicken campagnola & it was way over cooked, even charred which wasn't pleasant & the vegetables were basically raw, hence the overall 4 stars
