Overall, L'Académie offers a lively dining experience with a versatile menu that many guests find flavorful and well presented, and the service is often described as attentive and professional. The restaurant is praised for its variety, warm atmosphere, and the option to bring your own wine, making it a good fit for family dinners or groups, with generous portions on many dishes. Occasional notes of busy rooms, noise, and longer waits on peak nights are balanced by consistently positive remarks about the quality of ingredients, the creativity of some plates, and the friendly, capable staff.
This restaurant is just nothing to write home about. It's not bad at all, in fact, the Margherita pizza was actually really yummy, but our pasta dishes were very overcooked. The restaurant was empty while we were there between 5:40 pm - 7:00 pm (only 5 tables including our own), but the service was very long. Maybe I'll give it another try one day.

I've never seen a waiter berate other waiters openly in front of guests. Service wasn't so much bad as it was slow. We are the rigatoni, it was bland & the soup tasted watered down. We ordered 5 plates to share between 3 people & I didn't much like any of it except for the filet mignon. I wouldn't recommend this place to people who like to pay for food they would enjoy, very disappointed.
I loved the place, I had a great moments there with my colleagues, Birthday surprised, Nomination, ... But unfortunately, Today I can say I will never be back there The pasta was really tasteless, the sauce was too liquid , Like a soup the dessert really dry I do not suggest

The pasta was decent but all the steaks we got we're undercooked unfortunately. I adked for medium & got it blue.. sent it back so they could grill it more & it came back undercooked again. Definitely not worth paying 50$ per person plus tips & taxes if steaks cannot be cooked properly.

We were close to the doors, & it was cold. Food & service are really good. Don't forget to bring your wine! We found it difficult to find the restaurant because the neon sign light was not on (or broken?) The parking was full.
