Nous avons été souper pour l'anniversaire a ma fille samedi, excellent endroit pour accueillir des groupes,super ambiance & le personnel très professionnel autant les employés qui nous on servit que le gérant qu'on a très appréciées pour son agagement auprès de sa clientèle. Encore un gros merci pour l'équipe!!!!
Food was nothing special but expensive & the waitress was way too pushy to sell some dessert & coffee. Steak I has was terrible & didn't worth the money.

C'est ma premièrevisite à L'Académie Laval. Personnellement, je préfère ce resto à son cousin L'Académie Anjou. Le service & l'accueil étaient chaleureux & professionnels. Nous étions deux & tous deux avions choisi une escaloppe de veau, c'était délicieux de l'entrée au dessert. Un endroit où l'on apporte notre vin. Prix raisonnable. J'y retournerai avec plaisir !
Ça fait plus de 20 ans que je vais dans les Académies.... Ce soir à Laval la nourriture était très ordinaire! Entrée coquille St Jacques très décevante même chose pour la salade César! J'ai pris des moules ce n'était pas assez chaud mon plat avait eu le temps de refroidir un peu avant qu'il arrive à ma table & mes frites c'était pire! Sur la table d'hôte ils annoncent une côte de Veau .... Mais dans l'assiette c'était un T - Bone de veau! C'est tlm pas la même chose! Pour tous ces raisons malheureusement je n'y retournerai pas!
My fiancé & I absolutely love this place. We had a delightful experience being served by Stefan & his son. Their energy, kindness & customer service was exceptional. We appreciated every moment of our wonderful outdoor dining experience because of the staff that made it so memorable.
La nourriture est excellente je ne peux rien dire à propos de cela. Le problème avec ce restaurant c'est l'ambiance, ils ont compacter pleins de tables dans des petits endroits. L'espace entre les tables est très minible. Donc vu qu'ils prennent énormément de personne, le bruits & le vacarme qu'il y a à l'intérieur est insupportable. Nous avons également eu une très mauvaises expériences avec notre serveur qui était impatient, trop direct & pas compréhensif & il a osé se plaindre à nous car nous lui avons donner un petit pourboire pour son mauvais service.
Excellent experience. We were a group of 17 people for lunch on a Saturday. If you are a group of 15 or more, you must choose from a limited menu which has an assortment of options which include either soup, house salad or Cesar salad, main course & tea or coffee - including espresso based drinks. Food was very good. Of note are the mussels which are a house speciality. No one was disappointed with their meals - all plates were cleaned! Service was outstanding. Very attentive. They were able to address certain food restrictions with no issues. Plenty of bread, water replenishment, buckets of ice for wine, & additional glassware for toasts. Many in our group took desserts. All were fresh & there was a very good assortment. Plenty of free parking. Bathrooms a bit dated & could benefit from a good clean. It would have been nice to know about the set menues - the reservation system did not advise us; we only found out upon arrival. Would definitely recommend this restaurant over the Pointe Claire location.

very busy restaurant but quick & courteous service. my steak was very tender but my vegetables a bit bland & my potatoes dry. restrooms were a bit dingy, & need to be refreshed.
J'ai récemment goûté un plat de poulet grillé à L'Académie, & c'était une vraie réussite. Le poulet était bien cuit, tendre, avec juste ce qu'il faut de croustillant. La sauce tomate-oignon qui l'accompagnait était pleine de saveurs, bien équilibrée & relevée sans être trop forte. Les légumes étaient parfaitement cuits, encore croquants, ce qui ajoutait une belle fraîcheur au plat. C'est vraiment une assiette simple, bien exécutée & qui laisse une impression très agréable. Une belle option si vous cherchez quelque chose de délicieux & bien préparé !

The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, & genuinely passionate about the food they serve.
