Yjis is a rerstaurant I have visited many times in the past, but restaurant visits are rare for us since Covid & price hikes. So this was the first visit in over a year, for our anniversary. The experience was wonderful. Our favourite waitress was still there & still great. Food was excellent as was service & atmosphere. Try the Linguini Fradiavolo & the gnocci with Burrata if they happen to be on the menu. Outstanding.
L'ambiance est bonne, bon accueil, le Ceviche pieuvre n'était pas à la hauteur de mes attentes, puis comme plat principal'Osso buco veau & risotto' non plus. Je reste sur ma faim. Surtout pour avoir payé +de $250 pour deux. Je n'ai pas été impressionné par la qualité des plats choisis.

Absolutely exceptional. The food is consistently flawless-fresh, authentic, & beautifully prepared. Derek & his staff are just as impressive: warm, attentive, & incredibly knowledgeable. They always make us feel welcome & appreciated. A truly top-tier Italian dining experience & a must whenever you find yourself in the West-Island.
La qualité des mets est superbe!!!!! On était 4 & nous avons tout aimés ce qu'on a pris: speck, saucisses, pates, agneau, tiramisu. Par contre attention! Très occupé & bruyant. On a eu que 2h30 pour manger & le niveau de bruit était trop pour nous. Bruyant a l'intérieur & a l'extérieur aussi.
Très bonne nourriture! On a bien mangé, je recommande. Cependant, le service à la clientèle pourrait être amélioré. La serveuse, nous a répété 3 fois qu'elle avait une autre table après nous, c'est un peu ordinaire. Pour un établissement comme celui là, la serveuse devrait être plus chaleureuse avec ses clients. Elle nous a aussi dit que si on laisse 18% de pourboire c'est comme si on donnait 15% à cause de leur salaire & autres. Les serveurs ne devraient pas mentionner ceci aux clients c'est pas très professionel. Le pourboire est encore à ce jour à la discrétion du client selon l'appréciation du service reçu. Le Service est rapide également, c'est très apprécié, j'y retournerai quand même mais il faudrait revoir le service client. Merci à vous.
There has clearly been a change in the kitchen &/or management. The food is now mediocre, & while the service is still acceptable, it lacks the attentiveness it once had.
This place is no longer what it used to be. We were regulars several years ago & even went so far as to book the entire restaurant for corporate events. Back then, the food was absolutely amazing & the service was spot-on. Coming from that perspective, our recent visit was a real disappointment.
