La Tasse Joyeuse is described as a cozy, airy neighborhood cafe where coffee quality and friendly service stand out. Reviewers praise a wide range of drinks from excellent espresso and Spanish style matcha lattes to fresh guava juice and hazelnut hot chocolate with marshmallows, all at prices considered reasonable. The food menu is well received with generous portions of sandwiches such as pulled pork, paninis, wraps, salads and desserts, with several noting that flavors are consistently good. The space features a clean, bright retro inspired decor and is described as welcoming, comfortable for studying or working, with free wifi and plenty of outlets. The staff are repeatedly described as welcoming and attentive, enhancing the overall experience. A few comments mention that the menu can be a little hard to read and that some items may feel pricey for small portions or not especially memorable. Overall it comes across as a reliable, versatile cafe that many reviewers would return to for a quick bite, a coffee break or a study session.

Came here last week, in the middle of a very difficult day to have a coffee & a minute to collect myself. The atmosphere was lovely, a nice, calming environment, comfortable & warm. The barista who served me was friendly, fast, & professional. The almond milk latte was fantastic, bright without being too acidic, flavourful, & bold. I didn't get anything to eat, but the pastries looked very enticing. I don't live in the area, but if I did, this would definitely be a regular stop for me. Will be stopping by every time I find myself around.
I have not yet tried the food other than the tres leches, which is very good. Service is always efficient & friendly, even when there is only one staff doing the cashier, barista & waitress all at once. Drinks are good & prices are fair. A lot of places to sit & very nice deco. Not on the cool section of the street but worth the extra few steps/ detour, especially if you want to support local.
Superbe expérience, qualité & générosité de la part des propriétaires ainsi que l'espace très convivial & chaleureux. Festif & à la fois paisible. Je recommande & j'y retournerai assurément!
This is a quaint & cozy spot for coffee early & all day! They serve delicious fresh food. Affordable prices. Friendly staff (English, French, Spanish..) Modern, quiet space to study or have work meetings. I wanna come back here!
