About us
La Serenata, is an authentic Italian restaurant that merits being discovered. It has been many years since Angelo Colicchio and Sergio Di Stefano, with 55 years of combined experience, have been offering a menu with a veritable bouquet of flavors that stem from the central region of Italy. With an environment controlled cellar that houses some 1500 bottles of wine, 95 per cent of which are Italian, La Serenata can please even the most ardent connaisseur. With a lunch and dinner menu that combines both traditional and new recipes, La Serenata is prepared to handle all tastes. La Serenata Restaurant is open 6 days a week and reservations are recommended for Friday and Saturday nights. The restaurant is closed Sundays however, we are open for private parties, baptisms, confirmations, anniversaries or any special event.

The new location is bright & vibrant, decor is first class. Now let's start with the food, if I give it 6 stars I would. Service was fantastic & the waiter was so accommodating with customized menu items.
The lentil soup just we love it , tomoto salad that I'm still dreaming about! My pasta with scallops was spot on. The wine selection is fantastic! I strongly suggest don't walk but run there you will absolutely love it.View more

We were 2 couples eating at this restaurant. We were warmly greeted upon entry & seated. Service was good & menu had Table D'hote & A la carte options. We all went with the first. We were treated to a complimentary plate of bruschetta toast & they were nice. The starter salad was good but the angel hair pasta was delicious. I had the chicken Saltimboca & my wife & my friend had the Mediterranean Sea bass & his wife had the lamb shank. The largest portion was by far the lamb. The chicken was good but nothing special. The sea bass was a particularly small portion which was ok for my wife but small for my buddy. All in all, the value is there & food was decent. The standout was the pasta. Ambiance TRÈS Bruillante & TRES Festive pas apprécier par moi mais semble avoir été apprécier par la majorité des convives.

I never leave reviews but felt compelled to leave one for la serenata.
- the risotto is absolutely perfect; it's creamy, flavourful, & the assortment of mushrooms compliments the dish perfectly
- I also recommend the lamb. It was perfectly cooked & paired with a delicious sauce
- the crème brûlée is proportioned very well
- the tiramisu is also incredible I highly recommend
- If you get Danny as a waiter you will be very well taken care of. He is observant & attentive, we never sat with an empty glass or missing utensil; Danny sees all!!! (Give Danny a raise)
- the bathrooms are wonderful. Clean & nice.

Padta & Fagioli soup was similar to a canned pea soup. Mussels overly salted & was unable to detect any other taste. Sorbet tasted like my overly frosted grocery store tub at home. Thankfully coffee & service was good.View more

I just returned from probably the best meal I have ever had. I had the special at $33 & for my husband's was $26. Mine was a veal dish with about 5 ingredients including vodka, mustard, cream... The accompanying vegetables were a deep, rich colour & had a nice crunch.The salad was delicious with a variety of fresh, Marino mix lettuces. The dessert with coffee was a very small crème brulée; honestly, the best I have ever had. All servings were on the small side so that at the end of the meal I didn't feel full; just perfectly satisfied. I am going to book a pre-Christmas meal with my club members.View more
