This is the best Mexican food I've had since moving to Montreal. We had the octopus appetizer, which was delicious & cooked perfectly. The tacos de asada & tacos de carnita were great. The flan de leche de coco was incredible as well, & we also enjoyed our cocktails. The service was attentive & friendly. Looking forward to coming back!
Great mexican food in Montreal! Delicious cocktails & a wide selection of drinks (bar tender was more than happy to make me a paloma but substituting mezcal for tequila, which is delish). Got the tacos jeffe & they were delicious, & the tres leches looked amazing (too full to try it). Great service, nice ambience, wonderful food.

My friends & I came here for my bachelorette party & we had a wonderful time! Thank you very much for the warm welcome, friendly service, & delicious food! We especially enjoyed the octopus appetizer, the carnitas tacos, & the cocktails!

Petit restaurant de quartier très sympathique . On s est arrêté parce que c était déjà bien rempli & c est bon signe . La personne qui nous a accueilli était naturellement hospitalière . Supers cocktails bien dosés . On a pris la poivre en entree ! Quel bonheur le goût & le côté grillé ! & après des tacos & autre .la petite sauce sur le côté juste le piquante qu il faut . Pour ne pas cacher le goût du plat . Tout est fait maison . Esprit de famille . Simple sans chichi avec plaisir . On y retournera J ai vu sur la carte des plats qui m appellent. Plats au alentours de 20 dol . Cocktails autour de 10 . Bravo merci pour la soiree

Beau cachet, un bijou bien gardé du plateau 🤭 la bouffe est fraîche & les prix ; rafraîchissants !! Abordables & des bons petits cocktails classiques. On a beaucoup aimé le tartare de thon : on la commandé deux fois 🤭🤪 à essayer !!! Nous y seront définitivement de retour bientôt - on a entendu dire qu'ils ont un bon brunch 🤭
Nous avons fêté un EVJF dans ce restaurant & nous avons été agréablement surpris : non seulement le repas était excellent mais en plus, nous avons reçu des shooters de tequila en cadeau & le dessert de la future mariée était gratuit. Ambiance intimiste, serveuse souriante & sympa, vraiment une place à recommander. Il vaut mieux réserver car les places sont limitées.
Nous avons dépensé 50$ car nous avons pris la totale à savoir : cocktail, entrée, plat & dessert mais on peut s'en sortir avec un 25-30$ avec juste un plat & une boisson soft.
Awesome restaurant ! It's a small & quaint restaurant that feels really authentic, the vibe was great & the music not too loud which was really appreciated. I had the vegetarian tacos & they were really good with rice on the side. The cocktails were not like the ones you see everywhere, but really good cocktails I had never heard of ! The service was also really good, the waitress was really nice & efficient. You can definitely see she knows what she's doing ! Anyways, love the place, will come again & would definitely recommend to anyone in the area !
Nous étions un groupe de 4 un soir en semaine & nous avons adoré ! Le service est amical, la cuisine est très bonne, les cocktails sont excellents (spéciale mention mojito aux concombres & mezcalita). Les prix sont très abordables pour goûter une multitude de saveurs. L'ambiance cosy du restaurant vous fait sentir comme à la maison. Bravo aux cuisiniers & à la serveuse, nous reviendrons sans hésiter !
Petit souper surprise pour mon anniversaire, alors belle découverte pour moi, car je ne connaissais pas du tout. Le service était exceptionnel, notre serveuse était si gentille. Nos plats, un mot, MIAM ! Tout était bon, de l'entrée au dessert. Qui dit anniversaire, dit petits cocktails, & ceux-ci aussi étaient géniaux :) ! Alors je recommande ce petit restaurant formidable à tous !

I celebrated my birthday at La Selva, & it was the most wonderful experience. The service was outstanding, the food was D E L I C I O U S, & that night, they even had live music. All my guests were happy, & we will definitely come back. I tried the carnitas asada tacos & the cocktails, & both were fantastic
Petit restaurant de quartier vraiment avec une super ambiance. Il doit y avoir une vingtaine de places & nous ne sommes pas les uns sur les autres ce qui est vraiment agréable. Excellent rapport qualite/prix Entre 18 - 28dollars Les cocktails vraiment abordables env 10dol si je generalise. Mais ce qui fait aimer ce restaurant c'est surtout la bienveillance des responsables ou owners. Les cocktails sont grands, bons, ils s'y connaissent! Des petites chips +accompagnements sont servis dès notre arrivée. L'ambiance Mexicaine est la, l'endroit est tres bien decore. La nourriture est bonne & genereuse. Ce fut vraiment un plaisir d'y aller & j'y retournerai les yeux fermés. Juste Merci Ce resraurant est une belle decouverte!
Great service. Shrimp tacos were good but expensive for what they were & breaded with the tail on which I really dislike. My friend was disappointed in the selection of mains which were all tacos & gringas. Paloma Roja was a nice cocktail. For a place called Selva I was expecting more plants.
Tout était délicieux, des entrées aux desserts en passant par les cocktails! Mention spéciale à : Grinda asada, le paloma & le gâteau tres leches. L'ambiance était parfaite & tout le monde était très gentil & serviable. On a même eu droit à des shooters gratuits. On va y retourner ça c'est sûr!
