Review Summary

La Perle Vietnamienne is widely regarded as a local gem offering fresh, flavorful, and generous portions of Asian cuisine at reasonable prices. Many patrons appreciate the bring-your-own-wine policy and consistent quality of signature dishes like General Tao chicken, wonton soup, and peanut dumplings. While the dining experience is often highlighted by friendly, efficient service and a welcoming atmosphere, some visitors have noted that the environment can become noisy, and there are occasional reports of inconsistent service speed or telephone accessibility. Overall, the restaurant remains a popular destination for those seeking delicious, homemade meals in a familiar setting.

Always looking for great little Vietnamese restaurants & I specifically hunt the birds nest (crispy noodles dish). So far this place has my favorite by far & one big reason is they use grilled chicken instead of sautéed. Oh & they have great fried ice cream. Overall great place, great food.

Ordered 2 different kinds of soup & pad Thai... I was disappointed in the lack of flavour. My Tom yum was not spicy at all, which defeats the point of ordering tom yum soup. The pad Thai was just all noodles, I found some different noodles thrown in there, & barely any chicken... The chicken is not grilled... Would have preferred grilled chicken instead of little pieces. Anyhow, people are nice, service is good.

I ordered for a take-out & I specifically wanted the chicken & shrimp brochettes. When I arrived there to pick up, the guy said chicken & beef brochettes... I asked "no it was chicken & shrimps". Then he nodded, charged me the price for chicken & shrimps. I arrived home, it was chicken & beef. I don't care to lose a dollar but being dishonest just made me don't want to eat there anymore. Please be more honest with the clients.
