La Paella is hands-down one of the best dining experiences I've had in Montreal!
From the moment we walked through the door, we were greeted by the incredibly warm & welcoming staff. Everyone we interacted with was genuinely friendly, kind, attentive, & passionate about what they do. You can tell they truly care about creating a great experience for their guests.
They took time to explain the menu, offered great recommendations, & checked in often without being intrusive.
Now let's talk about the food absolutely delicious!
The Chicken & Chorizo Paella at La Paella is an absolute showstopper & easily one of the standout dishes on their menu. From the very first bite, it's clear that this paella is made with love, care, & serious culinary skill. The chicken is perfectly tender-juicy on the inside with a slight crisp on the outside, seasoned with just the right balance of herbs & spices to bring out deep, comforting flavors.
But the real magic happens when it's combined with the Spanish chorizo. The sausage is smoky, slightly spicy, & packed with bold flavor, adding an incredible depth to the dish without overpowering the other ingredients. It blends beautifully with the rice, infusing it with a rich, savory essence that builds with every bite.
The ambiance is the perfect balance between cozy & vibrant. The decor is warm & rustic, with Spanish touches that give the place an authentic mediterranean charm. The music, lighting, & overall vibe make it feel like a hidden gem-ideal for a date night, dinner with friends, or any special occasion.
La Paella is more than just a restaurant, it's a place where amazing food, wonderful people, & a relaxed, joyful atmosphere come together. Can't recommend it highly enough!

That was my first time tasting a paella & it was amazing! The amount of ingredients in the Royale is impressive. The seafood is fresh & the rice cooked perfectly.
I'm a big fan of the appetizers. I managed to taste a bit of everything & my favorites were the bravas potatoes & the fried calamari.
Great drinks & desserts as well. I recommend this place ❤?

A few weeks ago, very late on a Friday night, we were looking for a good place to eat in the Village, though our hopes were not to high. Lucky for us, we stumble upon this place & were absolutely amazed by the qualify & freshness of the ingredients, & the perfect execution of the paella we ordered. The service was also very good & there was enough nice spanish wine options for all budgets. Highly recommend! Thanks chef!

It was my first ever experience at a Spanish restaurant, & i loved every minute of it. The owner, Mathias, was super kind & friendly, & the food was amazing. I hope to come back soon, recommended for those who want to try Spanish food. Everything from the drinks, entrees, & main were delicious & each taste was curated.

Une des meilleures paellas que j'ai goûtées 😍 Les saveurs étaient incroyables, les fruits de mer super frais & les portions généreuses. L'ambiance du restaurant était chaleureuse & le service impeccable. Je recommande à 100 % !
