J'ai adoré mon repas du début jusqu'à la fin! Avec un coupon Groupon, pour deux personnes, nous avions un hors d'oeuvre chacun (nous avons pris les dumplings frits & les dumplings à la vapeur aux arachides), puis une soupe chacun (wonton spéciale & Tonkinoise), puis comme plats nous avons pris le poulet général tao & le nid d'oiseau au boeuf... un délice! & comme desserts la banane frite & l'ananas frit... bref, tout était très bon & frais & nous avons rapporté à la maison nos plats principaux car nous n'avions plus faim! Je recommande.

Honestly this is my favourite place to order from, the soups are amazing ( especially the grilled chicken or beef satay soup), the sushi is always fresh. Pretty much everything I order is fantastic every single time. I highly recommend. 🫶🏻

I like the vegeterian combo for two : it's a great deal & has ample vegetables! I love that they do old school delivery : call directly & skip the app!
J'adore La Merveille du Vietnam! Cela fait des années que je commande là-bas & je n'ai jamais été déçue. Je recommande particulièrement leurs rouleaux impériaux (les meilleurs!!) & leurs grillades. Leurs prix est bons & les portions généreuse. Merci La Merveille du Vietnam!!
I've been ordering from MDV/Itamea (both use the same address but they are separate menus) for years.
Honestly, there are really good dishes here! Prices have gone up over the years as they have everywhere else, but portions are generous, never had any issues with freshness. The staff is very nice for dine-in & attention to takeout orders.
The Vietnamese dishes are the better options for sure. Their grilled meats with vermicelli or rice, vietnamese rolls, very very good! I like getting soups too because of the Pho broth (they use it for Wonton soup as well). The more pan-Asian dishes aren't as strong but still very good. Bonus is the dining room is bring your own wine.
Not sure about the negative reviews tbh but I'll keep eating here.
Incroyablement trop salé, goûts correct. poulet général tao très moyen... Poulet frit mou, pas croustillant. Riz arrivé froid (Über eats) Une soif qui ne disparaît pas des heures après avoir mangé...

Je commande sur ubereats. La soupe wonton est délicieuse & les rouleux impériaux sont savoureux & énormes. Je suis étonnée de la cote assez basse sur google. À mon avis, un excellent rapport qualité-prix.
Before going to this restaurant, I checked the reviews & most of them mentioned terrible service. When I finally went there, there was no placed left, while I clarified that I did call, not only once, but twice to confirm by reservation! The waitor in the restaurant then said they couldn't find any reservation under my name. I then thought the reviews were so accurate & that I shouldn't have come.
Thankfully, I finally understood it really wasn't the restaurant's fault. So for everyone who bought the voucher on groupon.ca website & call the mentioned number on groupon.ca website to reserve, please forget that option, since they never told the restaurant the reservations they noted. My first time feeling terrible for a restaurant at the beginning, & really sympathize with them at the end. The owner didn't charge any additional drinks/ dishes I order additionally, as a way to apologize for the time I spent waiting for a table.
The dishes there were good! To my surprise, I think of coming there again 🙂
N'ont pas voulu respecter l'échange de leurs coupons rabais lors d'une livraison. J'ai tenté d'avoir des explications par téléphone & on m'a raccrochée au nez. Plus jamais La Merveille du Vietnam...
Nourriture:
OK, en particulier les entrées (les dumplings sauce arachide sont excellents). Les plats principaux arrivent souvent froid & sont moyens par rapport aux mêmes plats dans d'autres restaurants, les plats combinés sont intéressants. 3/5
Service:
nul en livraison. Arrive en moyenne 1h30 après la commande pour une distance normale, un à deux plats manquants 1 fois sur 2 (avec plus d'une vingtaine de commandes à mon actif, la qualité a chuté progressivement). Lorsqu'on téléphone pour obtenir un envoi de la commande, on a affaire à une série d'excuses aléatoires :
- "nous n'avions pas vu qu'il manquait quelque chose"
- "le livreur l'a oublié"
- "nous sommes désolés, il n'y a plus aucun dessert en cuisine" (à 19h)
- "nous ne pouvons pas le renvoyer, vous êtes trop loin" (quatre stations de métro)
Par-dessus, impossible d'obtenir un renvoi de la commande, & on passe à un système de "crédit" pour la prochaine fois, qui se négocie comme au marché aux puces. Malheureusement, essayer de faire valoir votre "crédit" la fois d'après se voit taxé d'un 2-3$ de "frais de livraison hors secteur", frais qui ne figurent pas aux additions habituelles... 1/5

SERVICE décevant manque de stock dans ma commande & quand je les appelle il me disent presque je suis menteuse ... dernière fois que je commandait la .
Il arrive quelques fois que ce n'est pas toujours d'une fraîcheur totale.
Le patron est plutôt arrogant & se fout de la gueule des clients, surtout avec ses coupons, car première fois qu'un resto émettant des
coupons oblige les client ayant le nombre suffisant de coupons pour un item offert, d'acheter en plus pour un minimum de 10 dollars. C'est d'un ridicule consommé, habituellement quand un resto offre ce genre de coupons à ses clients en livraison, un coup le nombre de coupons atteint
le client n'a qu'à payer les taxes associées à l'item choisi & bien-sûr
remettre un pourboire au livreur.
Bref, pour ces motifs, il est aisé de trouver autre restos du même genre
& pour ma part, c'est terminé, un client de moins.
