The food at La Limette was delicious. The birria tacos were especially good. It was a good portion as well. We did visit as a large group with some travellers who did not speak French. It was frustrating when the waitress continued to serve us in French when some of our group did not speak it. We did not feel accommodated in this regard.
Excellent mexican fare. Everything was fresh vibrant & delicious & served with finesse. The birria was phenomenal, fish tacos were delicious, the fried chicken as well & the burrito was very tasty. Everything we had we truly enjoyed. The desserts were excellent as well from the key lime pie to the tres leches cake. Service was friendly & efficient. We will be coming back for sure.

Eating here is always delicious. Took the Birria Queso tacos. The soft but cripy tacos, juicy meat & sauce were perfect. Salad was tasty! Restaurant is well decorated.
La Limette made my day! I was looking for something fresh to eat on a cold snowy day… their birria tacos did not disappoint! Staff was friendly & service was fast. I'll definitely be back soon
As a visitor from Toronto, I was craving some mexican food so I decided to come here & the food was amazing!!! Me & 2 friends got the birria tacos, queso birria tacos & the al pastor tacos along with some drinks. The rice as a side was a good addition to, so I highly recommend choosing that as a side. Will definitely come back here when I return to Montreal.
J'ai été pour ma fête & c'était pas première fois à ce restaurant. La qualité de la nourriture est incroyable, le goût wowwwwwww. J'ai pris l'aguachile & les tacos queso birria avec frijoles. Je retourne manger sans hésiter & je recommande à tous d'aller manger à cette place!
We were craving for some Aguachile & some good tacos 🌮, but as you can imagine Mexican food scene in Montreal is very limited (Grassy bad Birria tacos everywhere). This place exceeded our expectations, very good frijoles refritos 🫘, the aguachile is on point, the arrachera tacos 🌮 were sooo good. The horchata & tamarindo water are delicious 🤤. I'm glad we found this place in our neighborhood

One of our top two taco places in all of Montreal! (& we've tried most of them). Absolutely amaaazing & fresh food, perfect mojitos (virgin or classic) & a great atmosphere. Service is always fantastic too. The birria tacos are out of this world, especially the cheesy ones 🤤
Le service était excellent. C'est un nouvel endroit (été 2023) & il propose un menu abordable. Le personnel est sympathique & accueillant. J'ai commandé des calamars pour commencer, c'était cuit à la perfection. J'ai commandé des tacos birria avec du fromage & j'ai apprécié la façon dont la viande était juteuse & l'oignon/coriandre frais. J'ai demandé une sauce épicée & ils m'ont servi 3 délicieuses sauces avec. L'accompagnement de haricots noirs était également très bon. Le dessert, tarte au citron vert, fait maison, était très bon.
Wow ! Découvert comme ça en cherchant un resto mexicain pour souper sur notre chemin. Les cocktails sont addictifs & les tacos sont succulents. La sauce birria OMG !! Pas cher en plus selon le contexte actuel. Le menu brunch fait également saliver... Nous étions 8 & mes amis & moi avons fait un pacte d'y retourner !
We've been saying we'll try it for a while, & now that we had family visiting we finally did & it was worth it! We're definitely coming back! We had the quesabirrias, birria, michelada, aguachile, queso fundido & calamar frit & everything was so good! As a Mexican I'm often doubtful of some places that say they sell Mexican food because oftentimes it's not authentic but this one definitely is! So happy to have a good Mexican resto in the neighbourhood! 🤌🏻❤️
