Review Summary

Overall, La Cage is described as a lively sports bar experience with large screens, a casual and welcoming vibe, and a strong emphasis on watching games with friends or family. The staff are repeatedly praised for being friendly, attentive and efficient, contributing to consistently good service across visits. The menu earns steady praise for burgers, wings, and other satisfying options, with favorites such as the Blitz Burger and poke bowls noted, along with healthier choices and indulgent crowd pleasers like ribs and chocolate verrine. The atmosphere can be a bit loud during peak game times, but that energy is part of the appeal for many, and some reviewers highlight bar seating as ideal for game nights. Parking can be tricky at Solar Uniquartier, and a few visits report occasional service gaps during busy periods, but the decor is modern, the location convenient, and many say the experience offers solid value and a reliable place to return for another game night.

The music is just a bit above the normal talking volume so the ambience isnt right but during hockey games it is perfect, the food is really good & honestly 10/10 would recommend eating & order there

. P.S better than industria pizzeria + ba

On a été voir la game entre collègue de travaille, servi par Delphine, super souriante. C'est plaisant un service comme ça!

A bit loud for casual conversation, but great ambiance for watching games.
Food is great. Stuffed every time I've eaten there.

It's a simple sports bar with options of really good & healthy choices if you want. Fun to watch a Hockey game (Canadians) with amazing atmosphere. The parking is a bit tricky so make sure you ask for courtesy ticket before leaving.

La Cage is the kind of place where you can kick back, catch a game, & enjoy some satisfying comfort food. The atmosphere is relaxed & sports-friendly, with plenty of screens & a casual vibe that makes it perfect for unwinding.

The best place on Montreal's south shore to enjoy a sporting event with friends & family. The service is great, & the food is what you would expect from a sports bar. Good chicken wings & burgers. The TV screens are the gigantic - so you won't miss the game regarless of where you're sitting. Our kids enjoyed the kids menu - when we went there was an amazing $4 per kids meal special. That helps guite a bit on the wallet given price inflation these days!

I visit this place fairly often since it's right next door to the hotel I usually stay at when visiting the Montreal area. I love the atmosphere, watching sports is great & the place comes alive when a hockey game is playing. Staff is always very nice & service is amazing. The only reason the food is only 4 stars is because I grew up with Cage Aux Sports & I miss some of the old time classics for the menu way back when. That being said, they still have the best wings of any restaurant.

The restaurant feels like a grown up version of its past self. Everything feels more modern, the seating is nice & the restaurant looks sleek & has big screens for game night. The food is pretty standard for a quebecois bar & grill, it tastes ok & the portions are big. The prices are standard in this economy & the service was friendly & fast. Overall, a nice sporty bar & grill. Good luck for parking however.

Restaurant was packed, second on a waiting list & took 45 minutes to get a table (slow at flipping their tables) but understandably considering the crowds. Drink was watered down, food order was incorrect & choices on menu are limited. For a beer & hockey game this place is awesome but bad choice for getting dinner. Average place with average prices. Meh.
