Reviews describe La Buvette du Quartier as a chic yet welcoming spot with a warm vibe and a terrace, a sharing style menu that delivers creative dishes from oysters and tartare to pasta and bold plates, and a wine and cocktail program that many find exceptional, pairing nicely with the food. The service is generally attentive and knowledgeable, with a strong sommelier presence, though some visits note that the music can be loud and that waits can be longer during peak times. Overall the experience tends to be memorable and makes it a go to for celebrations and casual evenings alike.
Great restaurant with delicious food & wine. The service was also amazing. The wait staff was very accomodating. It got pretty loud with music towards the end of evening so I will try to book an earlier time slot next time.
Well this one is hard. We were welcome by an angel, all smiling & so kind & aware. Then we sat at the bar.. we always do for a better experience. The martini was good, the wine after, of course ( good selection btw) but the atmosphere was a disaster. Stuck a the bar watching employes chating & laughing even bumping on me on my way out of the washroom. Clients or prob friends rubbing being the bar & flirting with the staff.. I wouldn't have care really but the staff was so loud that I couldn't enjoy a conversation with my partner. The rest of the bar looked pretty annoyed too.. & waiting for service. It was only 7pm. & the place was half capacity at that time.
The food , decor & wine selection are there.
But the place shows a lack of management.
Will still recommend for wine selection, food, & the angel at the door.

I was really underwhelmed. I found the service a bit annoying, we mentioned we were sharing plates & had to request spoons to split out our food twice. They gave us a dessert to share but didn't give us a knife to cut it & when we mentioned it they told us we should have asked - I think they should have proactively offered. Service was too chatty, kept over explaining about how they had the best sommelier in Quebec & how their food was so good - read the room, we don't need to hear you complimenting yourself. We ordered several items, the focaccia, olives, brussel sprouts, rockefeller oysters, cavatelli & cod - I only enjoyed the focaccia & the brussel sprouts, the rest was not good per me, the flavors weren't well balanced, either too rich or too bland. The wine selection was good & the wine was excellent & really inexpensive with the promotions they have, so that was the highlight of the meal. I would only go back to have a glass of wine.
Beautiful ambience & excellent service. Large selection of drinks & private labelled wine. Nice presentation but the plates are not served all at the same time.
Absolutely wonderful, the ideal blend of trendy & chic, while remaining grounded & non pretentious. The wine selection is impressive, & the food is phenomenal. Creative dishes beautifully presented will make you want to try every dish. A true gem
Great atmosphere. My new favorite local spot. Great ambiance. Attentive staff & the food pricing is amazing value for what you get. The Spag Crab & the Risotto were next level. The wine list is extensive with several available per glass.
Definontely worth a casual evening out. Main courses varying from 22-60$.
Water service was amazing. I think they refilled our glasses 15 times. Not kidding. The runner gave detailed descriptions of everything on our plate. & our waitress (Leyla) was very attentive & smiling.

Food is excellent along with great service! Extensive wine list & staff very knowledgeable about wines available & also able to describe food very well. The atmosphere is casual & music not too loud so we were able to carry on conversation .
Yesssss to all the food, but mainly:
GET THE SHRIMP RISOTTO.
Great vibe: not too pretentious, servers (Élodie) are themselves, super attentive, wine list & knowledge is amazing.
Want to come back every week. How it is this good while being in a random parking lot blows my mind.
The wine is a bit expensive & not really good. But it was our choice
The fries were average
Other than that we reallly liked the cheese & charcuterie platter as well as the Ancestrales Tomatoes salad
The terrace is super cool, great vibe !

Amazing wine list, really good food. Unfortunately, the atmosphere kinda sucked. This place could be a destination for their excellent wine list. Fantastic collection of natural wines from all over. The downside: a bit of an identity crisis. Along with the great wine & good food, they've decided to go with the 2000's supper club vibe & DJ. Just doesn't fit. Probably won't be back & that's a shame, because other than the vibe, we'd be regulars. Half empty restaurant & the dj just kept pushing the volume like he was at a club. Too bad.
Buvette is a really pretty spot-loved the decor, & there was tons of parking. The menu looked great & felt fairly priced. We had oysters, pasta, & risotto-all really tasty & nicely portioned.
The service was polite but a bit distant, especially considering we were the only table there. Not bad, just not super warm. Also, for a place called Buvette, the wine-by-the-glass selection was surprisingly limited (only 2 whites & 4 reds), which felt a bit off.
Still, the food was solid & there's more on the menu I'd like to try, so I'll probably be back.
La Buvette du Quartier in Brossard is one of the best spots in the area for shared dining. While it's not a tapas restaurant, the plates are generously portioned & meant to be shared. Prices are fair-comparable to or slightly higher than similar restaurants in Montreal.
The food is delicious, the wine selection is excellent, & the staff are friendly, attentive, & efficient. The overall vibe is relaxed yet polished.
My one disappointment was the dessert. The blondie was overcooked & too sweet, lacking the balance & finish I was hoping for-so I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5.
Pro tip: Make a reservation if you're going on a weekend evening. Without one, you could be waiting up to an hour for a table.
We loved our date night at Buvette! The area was lacking a more upscale place & this met the expectations. Delicious food, & amazing wine selection. The place itself is also stunning. We look forward to coming back.
First meal in Canada for us. A delightful woman waited on us & spoke very good English. She was fine with our not so good French. Our Italian white wine was perfect with our shared plates. Very relaxing after a long car drive. I would go again.
The food was amazing & so were the drinks & wine. We only ended up staying for 1h30 because we felt rushed by the waitress. after our meal we sat chatting with our wine & the waitress kept asking if we were going to order anything else. By the third time, we just decided to ask for the bills. The ambiance was great but It got a little dark in the restaurant for 9pm.
