The staff are pretty chill & you do get up to pick up your order. The choice of food is a pretty good version of fusion Chinese food. I'm not usually a big fan of this type but I was pleasantly surprised. Will update my review if needed.
Belle place mais la bouffe est pas mangeable...fait 3 fois que j'y vais & c'est toujours pareil...fini pour moi.
Went there for a smoothie & worked a little bit on my laptop. Great atmosphere around
5-6 pm on a Tuesday, the cashier was nice & smiling 😊, glad to discover this place.
Vous êtes les meilleurs ceux qui disent le contraire c'est des gens qui souhaitent votre échec mais savent pertinents que votre modèle d'affaires marche & votre service est essentiel. La preuve est que plein d'universitaires & des professionnels squattent votre café. Surtout durant la période d'examen.
C'est bon, c'est chaud, c'est abordable. Il y a des boissons en tout genre, café, chips, déjeuner : c'est un genre de Diner en même temps qu'un café étudiant, mais aussi une cuisine asiatique. Parfait pour les étudiants de l'école nationale avec de grandes tables pour travailler ou simplement pour casser la croûte près de la station Laurier.
This cafe has been my go-to spot for the last 4 years. It's cozy, welcoming, & the baristas there all have such a lovely energy. It always feels a bit like a second home. I love love their homemade chai latte recipe that they make from scratch, & their homemade pumpkin spice cake. Their vegan poke bol is also such a steal - it's packed & large & filling, with incredible sauce to go with it. I'll continue to come back here every time I'm in the area!!!

I had a delicious & unique smoothie called the Jouvence here on my way to work. The server was working alone & there was a line but she managed to make it fast with the perfect balance of flavours & consistency. I also appreciate that they use paper cups. Thanks for making my day Came back to try the special of fried tofu & sautéed vegetables which came with surprise portions of salad & rice. It was really good. The salad dressing was tasty & balanced. The rice was cooked to perfection almost like sticky rice. It was decent value of a plate for $12. I noticed they have a lot more veg meal options so I'll be back to try the rest I returned to try the veg dumplings & they were really good alone & with the sauces. Only complaint is an hour before closing they put the food in plastic containers & only tell you after you pay. They're trying to give themselves less to clean but it's still wasteful. It's not that hard to wash simple dishes & stay a bit later. Pay your employees to do what needs to be done Came back for the Japanese tofu. It was so buttery & lightly breaded with good rice & salad. It seems they stopped using plastic to serve food in the evening, nice! Very disappointed in the general Tao tofu. It was so sugary I was nauseous even though I did my best to peel off the breading & sauce. Not edible. They gave me a 10% discount on my next order at least The tempeh burger was good but be aware it's a small piece of tempeh & a huge piece of tofu , not what's in the picture on the menu . The potatoes it came with were really good ! The veg sauté du jour was great except the onions were undercooked The green beans sichuan were really good but it didn't say there's beef in them on the menu. If I knew I wouldn't have ordered them
The food is really good & reasonably priced! There's always a weekly special for under $15 that's full of flavor. Just one thing-don't be in a rush, as the food can sometimes take a while to be ready. That said, it's definitely worth the wait!
It's not your elegant diner of sort but it's a great hood resto where you'd feel comfortable enjoying a meal, It could be very packed but I love the energy. The variety of dishes available are great! They have a weekly special & it's worth your buck. The STAFF is amazing!!!!
Sichuan Green beans are very spicy, you've been warned! They put hot green peppers mixed in there. Reminded me of when I was living in Bangladesh, picking them out of my food . Also I think there is beef in that dish.
Endroit très sympathique avec beaucoup de place pour travailler ou faire des rencontres. La bouffe était super bonne & abordable . Gros bémol la propreté des lieux. L'ensemble du resto aurait besoin d'un bon coup de peinture & de chiffon. & les toilettes sont plus que du pour être rénovées. C'est dommage parce que ça nuit pas mal à la qualité de l'expérience. L'endroit était super mignon, mais là ça s'est vraiment détériorée.
A hidden gem in the plateau area! Chinese food is authentic & delicious. I haven't tried the western selections but would recommend sticking to the Chinese dishes the prices are super affordable! I'm a sucker for pumpkin spiced lattes & the one I had was the best one yet. They make their own pumpkin purée syrup which is mind blowing compared to Starbucks. It was not too sweet & still had a strong coffee taste. We ordered two dishes: Japanese tofu sautéed with soy sauce/oyster sauce & boiled fish in spicy sauce. It came with rice & salad. Both dishes super tasty & now I want to try more from the menu!
