My son & I visited La Belle Patate for the first time & we will definitely be coming back!!!
Where from Ontario & visit Montreal once or twice a year to see family.
When you each got a smoked meat sandwich & shared a medium poutine.
A smoked meat sandwich was absolutely incredible & the poutine was probably the best we've ever had. To say that we were impressed would be a huge understatement!!!
Both Junior & Andy were so incredibly kind & fun to chat with & clearly take pride in the food they prepare. The hostess when we arrived was also very welcoming.
Already looking forward to our next visit!!!

La belle patate never fails to give good quality food & great portions. Ever since I moved here this place has been my go to for poutine ( you have to try Philly steak poutine) the best ! & the subs are great too .

Nah this place was very dirty & the bathroom smelled terrible. Although tho food was nice i was disappointed about the smell & service was not bad.

Some would call this type of breakfast spot as a'greasy spoon', but be aware, this is NO greasy spoon. The bench seating is neat & generous, the lighting bright & the food portions generous. A basic breakfast plate consists of two eggs, home fries, bacon & toast. Also, a bottomless cup of coffee.

Unassuming strip mall appearance from the outside, but step inside & you're greeted by a retro lunch counter style restaurant vibe with friendly staff & broad selection of traditional fast food & Québécois specialties.
The quality of the food is high the flavours very good…& the best part?! Real plastic straws!!
Washrooms could use some work.

2nd most underrated gem in montreal aside from Paul patates. Had the Italian poutine & it was to die for so creamy & so delicious extra cheese curds as well added too added to the flavor. 10/10

J'avais laissé un 5/5 par le passé mais là, je suis tanné de me sentir obligé de laisser un pourboire!! Votre caissière est clairement impolie quand on laisse rien du tout! Le pourboire, c'est pour le service aux tables!! Pas pour une caissière désagréable! & l'excuse du pourboire pour les cuisiniers.... c'est pas mon problème s'ils sont pas assez bien payés! La nourriture est toujours aussi bonne mais dernièrement, on a décidé d'aller manger ailleurs, moi & ma femme. On est tannés de se faire regarder croches ou de se faire juger! Vous allez perdre toute votre clientèle fidèle....
