Everything pink, elegant & romantic makes it ideal for a date. The service was efficient & our waitress, even though it was her first day, was amazing & very helpful. As for the food, I would the say the drink were delicious & worth coming back, but I was a little bit disappointed by the food. Not bad, but the potatoes were a bit salty & some of the food was a bit cold, but I have to say that the day we went, the place was filled & the cuisine seemed a bit overwhelmed. The dessert part (waffle & mini pancake) was however delicious. Iwill definitely give it another chance though.
Visited during brunch time. The place is adorable. Small. Nicely decorated & the staff was very welcoming, & nice. Limited parking.
I had the tiramisu latte, & my friend had the mango matcha latte. The drinks were not great. The tiramisu latte did not taste like tiramisu, & the coffee was weak. My friend asked for extra mango to get the mango taste in the matcha, but liked the drinks after.
The food was fine. I had the tuna, avocado panini. My friend had the salmon bagel & the small pancakes. Said they were fine
Overall, I would say the place is worth a try.
Ok so we waited 20 minutes for our coffees. There is only one waitress & one chef for the whole restaurant…when I ordered the popular tiramisu drink the waitress didn't even know what it was (maybe she's new) I don't know! No spoons & no sugar on table. We waited 45 minutes for our food! We did not have enough utensils & we asked for more & never got it (so we shared & took turns lol) the food was good but nothing special. My kids got pancakes & they did not bring a plate for each so they shared again lol The price 115$ LOL & when we asked for the bill she said we have no more paper LOL anyways nice experience I guess but never again not worth it
June 2026 - I was looking forward to trying this breakfast spot for the first time. It was a lack lustre experience & we will unfortunately not return. The two other people I was with also feel the same way. The waitress had no personality & it was difficult to get her attention when you needed something. I was surprised my 2 egg breakfast with mini pancakes did not come with toast. I ordered toast for an extra charge although the sausages were also missing that were to be included. The toast came, one piece not two & no butter. I was also disappointed they did not have fresh squeezed orange juice. I don't usually write reviews for restaurants but I was super disappointed in this place. They don't seem happy to try to please customers & focus more on letting you know what you need to pay extra for & to give you the bill without asking if you want anything else after you have initially ordered. There is also not a lot of parking. Luckily there are many other breakfast places that are happy to see & serve us.
Since they don't take reservations we had to wait a bit, about 20 min which wasn't bad at all. They gave us seat while waiting which I appreciated. While waiting we took a look at the menu so we can order right away (we had a hungry toddler with us). Honestly, it took so long to get the food. We ordered 3 dishes & 3 drinks. Drinks didn't get served first, it came with food. When they brought my dish in, waitress told me that their bubble waffle machine broke. That's the dish I ordered for my toddler. I asked why they didn't advise me sooner. You are serving 2 dishes & ask me only then if I want to order something to replace? It didn't make any sense to me. I ended up ordering mini pancakes because she said that's what is already made & ready to be served right away. I also ordered a cup of warm milk for my kid but to find out they charged me a full price for latte. Food was ok, nothing spectacular or out of ordinary. Our bill came up to slightly over 100$. Definitely not worth the service we got & food we had. Place is cute, I think lots of people come for the vibe & to take pics. Overall, not an ideal spot for whole family.
I finally made it out to Kozatika in Laval for brunch with my friend Sarah - & what a cute little spot! Right away, we were charmed by the cozy, stylish vibe: pink velvet booths, leafy plants, & bookshelves that make you feel like you're brunching at your most fashionable friend's house.
It was such a beautiful day that after ordering, we decided to move outside to their cozy little terrace - the perfect spot to soak up the sun while we waited for our food.
We decided to try a bit of everything (highly recommend going this route). Here's what we shared:
• Iced strawberry matcha - light, refreshing, & milky with a sweet, earthy matcha base.
• Sparkly strawberry ade - a sparkling strawberry lemonade with a pop of fresh mint, giving major virgin mojito vibes. This was hands-down my favorite drink of the day.
• Iced tiramisu latte - creamy, decadent, & just the right amount of sweet.
• Strawberry mini pancakes - soft, fluffy, & almost too pretty to eat (but of course, we did).
• Mixed berry pancakes - a blueberry-strawberry dream, with fresh berries tucked into every bite.
• Smoked salmon avocado toast with eggs - two perfectly poached eggs over smoked salmon, spinach, & artisanal sourdough, all topped with silky hollandaise.
• Smoked salmon bagel - layered with arugula, pesto, cucumber, smoked salmon, red onions, & cream cheese - fresh & flavorful without feeling heavy.
Every plate came out beautifully presented, complete with edible flowers - a little detail that made it feel extra special. You can really tell they care about quality ingredients & thoughtful presentation.
It was the perfect brunch for a sunny day - cozy inside, chill on the terrace, & already plotting my return (mostly because I need another sparkly strawberry ade in my life).
I share local foodie finds & cultural gems at @foxyappetite on Instagram & @foxy.appetite on TikTok - & Kozatika absolutely earned a spot.
This place was honestly amazing. We were greeted by the owner & we were promptly attended my the waitress. Customer service was 5/5, they were polite & friendly. The food options were excellent, especially the variety of drinks options they had. We got the match latte & dalogna latte, which was fresh, sweet & huge in portion & good in price. We then got a plate of mini ores pancakes, which were filled with Nutella inside & garnished with Oreo & whipped cream. The presentation of the food was beautiful. The interior of the cafe was cute & cozy. Would come back again!
