KINTON RAMEN opened its first location in May 2012, debuting as Toronto’s first authentic Japanese ramen bar. With a dedicated focus on ramen, executive chef Aki Urata is uncompromising in his pursuit to serve the best quality noodles and broth. Our experienced ramen chefs prepare each and every topping, using only the freshest and highest quality ingredients. At KINTON RAMEN we invite you to experience our variety of exceptional ramen bowls, right down to the last drop.
Kinton Ramen is consistently praised for rich, flavorful broth, chewy noodles, and generous toppings, with pork, beef, and spicy garlic ramen among the favorites and a comforting, warming feel that makes it a top pick on cold days. The ramen is described as well balanced and carefully prepared, with tender meat and fresh accompaniments, and the gyoza and karaage often mentioned as excellent add ons, along with desserts like yuzu ice cream. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, with a modern, friendly vibe, and the service is repeatedly noted as fast, attentive, and welcoming, making it a reliable spot for casual meals, dates, or group outings. Many reviewers mention good value for money and a consistently high standard in both dine in and takeout experiences, though one account notes a lapse in honoring a dietary restriction and another mentions missing items in a takeout bag. Overall, Kinton Ramen is seen as a top ramen destination with loyal fans for the original beef and spicy garlic pork ramens, a wide range of flavors, and dependable service that keeps patrons returning.
The Ramen is always so amazing, & the staff is always so warm & funny. I will never get tired of this place!! Bun was an amazing server & will definitely be coming back:) He was a mix of funny & professional which is always appreciated! Cake was so good too
If I could give this place 6 stars, I would. Actually, I'd give it my soul.
I walked into this ramen shop as an ordinary woman & walked out reborn.
The ramen were liquid enlightenment. Halfway through my bowl, time stopped. The world faded away. It was just me, my ramen, & a single tear of gratitude rolling down my cheek.
Thanks for reminding me what it means to be alive. Run, fly, crawl if you must.
Didn't have time to take a picture of the food but it was sum of the most delicious ramen I've eaten I had the beef origina the price is very affordable & the atmosphere very clean & welcoming the host was very engaging & joyful 10/10 i recommend !
Quick & efficient service. Original ramen with pork was excellent, egg & noodles were cooked perfectly. Broth was rich & the pork was salty & burned just enough. Great combination.
60$ for 8 pieces of gyoza & 2 ramens is insane, especially when the beef in the ramen is mostly fat, there's barely any veggies n it's about 98% just noodles, idk what happened to this place but the quality went down the gutter. I'll be going elsewhere in the future & I recommend the same for yall
