KINTON RAMEN opened its first location in May 2012, debuting as Toronto’s first authentic Japanese ramen bar. With a dedicated focus on ramen, executive chef Aki Urata is uncompromising in his pursuit to serve the best quality noodles and broth. Our experienced ramen chefs prepare each and every topping, using only the freshest and highest quality ingredients. At KINTON RAMEN we invite you to experience our variety of exceptional ramen bowls, right down to the last drop.
Kinton Ramen is consistently praised for rich, flavorful broth, chewy noodles, and generous toppings, with pork, beef, and spicy garlic ramen among the favorites and a comforting, warming feel that makes it a top pick on cold days. The ramen is described as well balanced and carefully prepared, with tender meat and fresh accompaniments, and the gyoza and karaage often mentioned as excellent add ons, along with desserts like yuzu ice cream. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, with a modern, friendly vibe, and the service is repeatedly noted as fast, attentive, and welcoming, making it a reliable spot for casual meals, dates, or group outings. Many reviewers mention good value for money and a consistently high standard in both dine in and takeout experiences, though one account notes a lapse in honoring a dietary restriction and another mentions missing items in a takeout bag. Overall, Kinton Ramen is seen as a top ramen destination with loyal fans for the original beef and spicy garlic pork ramens, a wide range of flavors, and dependable service that keeps patrons returning.
The ramen itself was outstanding. The broth was rich, flavorful, & perfectly balanced - you can really taste the care & quality in every spoonful. The noodles were cooked just right, with that ideal chewy texture, & the toppings were fresh & generous. The pork was tender & melt-in-your-mouth delicious. Every bite felt comforting & satisfying
I had a great experience at Kinton, the noodles were the perfect amount of firmness & the broth tasted amazing (I had the vegetarian shoyu brûlée). My fiancé said the tofu tasted just like the pork version. The servers were extremely kind, especially Bun!
Edit: We ordered the Vegetarian Shoyu brulee a few weeks later & we are pretty sure we got served the pork ramen when we wrote this review, since it tasted very different from this time we tried it, which was more in line with how their other vegetarian ramens taste. No wonder my fiance thought they made a great vegetarian Chashu that tasted just like pork.. it was pork. This is an unfortunate situation since we very clearly asked for vegetarian ramens. Changed from 5 stars to 2 stars because not honoring a dietary restriction is unacceptable.
I went on Dec. 12th 2025 & I'm happy they reverted back to their original broth from early 2024. The ingredients were plentyful & the bowl was amazing. The service was also really good. The 2 people who took care of us were pleasant & gave awesome service.
I had the Beef Spicy Garlic Ramen, & honestly, it hit the spot. The broth had a good kick without being overwhelming, the beef was tender, & everything felt balanced. I ended up finishing the whole bowl - not because I planned to, but because it kept getting better with each bite.
Service was friendly, & the place has a relaxed vibe. If you like a bit of spice & solid comfort food, this is a good pick.
Although the broth is very flavorful. The amount of ingredients in the ramen has reduced. Our last order,.my husband & I looked in the bag to see of we missed something. The contents went from 2 pieces of tofu to 1, about 2 pieces & enough noodles & broth to fill 1/4 of the takeout bowls. We used to find it expensive for ehat you got but now, its not worth it at all.
Kinton Ramen never disappoints! I've been coming here often, & their ramen is always amazing. I tried the shoyu ramen today, & it was packed with rich flavor & perfectly balanced. The noodles were springy, the broth was comforting, & the service was fast & friendly as always. Easily one of my favorite ramen spots as it's both comforting & nostalgic! :3

Quick & efficient service. Original ramen with pork was excellent, egg & noodles were cooked perfectly. Broth was rich & the pork was salty & burned just enough. Great combination.
Delicious ramen! I had the Original Pork Ramen-flavorful broth, tender pork, & perfect noodles. Friendly staff & a nice, clean space. Great spot in Pointe-Claire!

Kinton Ramen excels in culinary precision, offering a masterful harmony of rich, umami-laden broths, perfectly textured noodles, & impeccably prepared chashu, solidifying its place as a distinguished purveyor of authentic ramen craftsmanship.
From the moment you walk in, the warm aroma of rich broth & sizzling garlic hits you like a hug from an old friend. The atmosphere is cozy but lively, with a cool urban vibe that makes you want to settle in & stay a while.
Kinton Ramen exceeded my expectations! The food, the atmosphere, & the service were all top-notch. I tried the pork donburi, karaage, & pork spicy ramen, & every dish was fantastic.
The pork spicy ramen had a rich, flavorful broth with the perfect level of heat, & the noodles were cooked just right. The karaage was crispy on the outside, tender & juicy inside-one of the best I've had! The donburi was packed with flavor & had a great balance of textures.
Service was fast & friendly, & the overall experience was amazing. If you're looking for a great ramen spot, Kinton Ramen is a must-visit. I'll definitely be coming back!
Tasty ramen! The broth is rich & flavorful, the noodles are perfectly chewy, & the toppings are fresh & delicious. Warm atmosphere & friendly service of Paula makes it even better.
Will definitely revisit!

Our favourite ramen place: we come here at least once a month & never got disappointed. Yummy broth, big portions & great value. The service is also excellent. My personal advice: try their black sesame cheesecake, it's truly unique.
Had the spicy garlic pork ramen with my boyfriend & it was very delicious, wish there was less noodles, but the broth was amazing, definitely will be going back The server was so sweet, excellent customer service
We got the summer estival, the service was really quick & the people serving us were very kind. Food wise, the broth was flavourful, the noodle were bouncy & chewy & was cooked very well. Would come back again!
The food here is pretty decent - the broth & gyoza are both flavourful. The staff & are friendly but they always seem to dip out when getting the bill. I end up waiting at my table for like 10-15 minutes before having to walk to the cash to actually pay. It's not clear where to pay. If this issue would resolve, the service would be really good.
I tried the original pork ramen with the thick noodles. The lunch special was $11.99. Great deal to try two different options. It was delicious. I found the broth needed a bit of spice, so I added sriracha. It was great! The pork was nicely seared. The service was good too. I like that the glasses of water are in metal tall cups to keep it extra cold! Bonus the bathrooms have mouth wash & toothpicks, which was nice after the meal.
