The food is not very nice & the people were okay... way too many wrong things with this restaurant. There are no ventilation & not that much windows, there are smoke everywhere. Upstairs is worst. & food is not good anymore.View more

Comedically terrible & incomprehensibly smoke-filled. The other reviewers are so kind, I'm in awe at their charity. You don't grill your food at your table. It comes out of a chafing dish onto a metal grill that's basically just sitting over a large candle. & yet the place is still full of smoke. Not a little bit of smoke. Not a faint aroma of char. We're talking smoke thick enough that, if you encountered it in any other building, would make you think "Oh, I should leave, this building is clearly on fire.". A truly baffling volume of smoke that really seems to be shouting "Hey, maybe this building doesn't have the ventilation necessary to be a restaurant." at anyone with enough sense to listen. Bah-nan-nas. Never seen anything like it. Meat was really overcooked & not great, banchan was fine, prices were absolutely ridiculous for re-warmed meat served in a room absolutely filled with smoke. With tip, I think we hit $150 for 2 people & 1 bottle of Soju. Yeah, I know! Sounds exaggerated. I get it. Trying to be a funny guy with an overblown review. Totally fair. Please, don't believe me. Go check it out. The smoke'll be there for you, I don't think it takes days off.View more
Endroit très charmant avec une excellante cuisine. Les sides dish sont toujours bons & la viande est de bonne qualité. C'est parfait pour un repas entre amis. Être plusieurs permet de commander plus de variété de viande sans risque de gaspillage. Le temps entre le moment où on commande & que ça l'arrive n'est pas très long. Commander via son téléphone est très agréable. On peut le faire à tout moment durant le repas. Le personnel est serviable & professionel. Ils n'hésitent pas à venir changer les grilles brulées ou à vérifier les bonbonnes de gaz. Pour les gens qui n'ont jamais essayé de BBQ coréen cela peut être destabilisant lors de la première visible, mais l'endroit en vaut la peine pour son personnel & sa nourriture. Je déconseille aux jeunes enfants qui ne sont pas capable de rester assis pendant plus de 30min. C'est un style de repas qui prend du temps. Vous n'aurez pas finis de manger en 30min. Il peut faire rapidement chaud autour des grilles & y avoir de la fumé comme la ventilation n'est pas directement au dessus des grilles. Somme toute, ce ne sont pas des points négatifs. Mes amis & moi y allons regulièrement & nous ne sommes jamais déçu de notre soirée.View more
Food is good, good service, acceptable price, but the worst thing is the smoke. Quite hard to imagine that a bbq restaurant doesn't have exhaust fans for the grill smoke. It makes me sick. (I have hypersensitivity to smoke)View more

It's a small restaurant but they have two floors, so they have a lot of tables & no wait time when we visit. The wooden exterior makes the place really cozy & likeable. The service was patient & polite, they were also trying their best to serve us as fast as possible but they had to go up & down the stairs which made me feel bad for them. I was greatly disappointed that they couldn't offer the usual KBBQ experience since the place seems to lack a bit of ventilation & now they prepare all the food in the kitchen instead of letting us grill the food at our table. The food was still decent but it tastes just so much better when we grill the meat at our own pace. Now, some of the cuts would arrive cold & overcooked for us so it felt dry & less appetizing. The flavours were also alright but I wish they had more options for sauces so that we can change the taste of the meat a bit after a while, making the meal more refreshing. I found it a bit expensive, 41$ plus tax per person. I understand that it is an all you can eat place, but the options to pick from & the quality of the food does not make me think it's worth the price. Especially the shrimps, they were a big let down to me.View more

Really good. Pleasantly suprised actually in a good way. First time I had Korean BBQ in Montreal. Meat cuts were good, friendly service, & the even had fried chicken which was good. Next time I travel to Montreal I'll have a meal here again & again =). Its been 4 years since I was here & I'm back. Still holds up. Lunch isn't busy, so if you want a quiet lunch & have the restaurant all to yourself or your group have lunch here. Place is busy in the evenings & weekendsView more
Went out with a friend. Good selection within the buffet, staff was super helpful with the grilling though it's also pretty simple as is. The grilling section had the expected meats & veggies as well as stuff I hadn't had the opportunity to try before like ox tongue which was pretty good!
Not to mention, the sides & pre-cooked meals offered were delicious: the spicy fried chicken & the mango ice cream were particular highlights, just keep proportions in mind when ordering.
Restaurant wasn't very crowded which I love & seemed like a good amount of room for parking for people who drive (I don't).
All in all, pretty good time!View more
