Overall, reviews portray Jack Le Coq as a go to for fried chicken with consistently juicy, crispy poultry, generous portions, and flavorful coatings that many readers compare favorably with major chains. The tenders, Nashville and red hot options, wraps, and burgers are repeatedly praised, along with strong sides like waffle fries, mac and cheese, and a notably rich brown gravy and the signature Jack sauces. The restaurant is described as colorful, clean, and welcoming, with fast service and a friendly staff, though a few mentions of odor or busy dining rooms exist. Price is noted as a bit high by some, and a few customers report occasional issues with value or timing, including orders that arrive cold or incomplete. Halal certification is noted by some reviewers, and several readers call it the best fried chicken in the area, with many planning to return.
I don’t know at what point we as people should just be completely outraged by the price of everything. I ordered fries, 4 chicken tenders, a regular Mac & cheese & a regular corn. I will add a photo of the size that the corn & Mac & cheese came in.
With tax each one came to almost 5$. 5$ for two bites of each. Is this a joke? I eat out often & make a ton of reviews. What’s the profit margin on this? The cheese had no flavour. The macaroni was awful. The corn had butter but also, no flavour. What an absolute rip off. You can spend 10$ at the grocery store & feed a family of 6 with the amount of Mac & cheese you could make.
I’m truly disgusted by literally all these businesses & grocery stores making the cheapest food so expensive. Will never return.
Tried the tenders & 2 different chicken sandwiches ( Honey & buffalo) . Fries were hot & crispy. Honey chicken sandwich was tasty but lukewarm. It came with a side of Mac & cheese & the pasta was mushy & the portion very small. Stick to the fries! Maybe it was because if the hype, but i felt a bit disappointed.
Service was good & place was clean.
Amazing chicken. Go for the original. The best choice. Person in the front counter may ignore you, but trust the process. Once you get your food, you’ll find your happiness. Be prepared to wait a bit, spot gets BUSY.

I tried Jack le coq Brossard. The burgers are great! The crisp is so good, ordered the spicy one & will order it again for sure. The manager & the staff are super nice!
I really enjoyed how flavourful their fried chickens are. Whether it is in the burger or by itself, it had strong flavours & tasted great. I however was not a big fan of their sauces. I tried both the honey mustard & their Jack sauce, they both had strong flavours but it just wasn't for me. Another aspect of the chicken that made me not like it as much as I hoped was probably the crispiness of the chicken. I don't know if it was because it was a delivery, but the chicken's exterior was just not crispy at all. It would have been so much better in my opinion because the crispiness would add a different texture to the tender meat. Overall, it was pretty enjoyable. The portions were reasonable for the price & the food is pretty filling.
Excellent restaurant de poulet frit. Du jamais vu. Ça bat à pleine couture PF*. Très propre en cuisine comme en salle a manger. Bon service. Bien accueilli. On as même été conseillé. Bref je recommande. J'espère qu'ils auront le monopole très bientôt.
We ordered the 8piece fried chicken thighs & drumsticks family combo for 3 people. It was amazing! The chicken was so good & hot. Bonus point: the chicken is halal. The decor is so cute - totally instagrammable! Excellent service! Only small comment: the fries were not the best. Other than that, I 100% recommend it for fried chicken (my husband is in a food coma 😂).
