Isle de Garde comes across as a beloved neighborhood brewery with an outstanding and varied beer list, including European styles and a strong range of non alcoholic options, paired with solid food that spans burgers and fries to mac and cheese and tartare; the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, the terrace is a plus, and staff are frequently praised for friendliness and attentiveness. Yet popularity can bring crowds that make the space loud and the service feel rushed or less attentive at times, and a few guests note prices can be high or that vegan options are limited. Overall the venue earns high marks for beer quality, consistency when not overwhelmed, and a friendly vibe that makes it a go to for beer and eats, with many returning and favorites like the burger and certain dishes highlighted, while occasional service hiccups during peak hours remind of the challenge of balancing volume and guest experience.
Huge beer list & knowledgeable staff. The menu prices came to a bit of a shock to me as i was expecting a brewpub, but will come back to drink nonetheless.
L'arancini mozzarella di buffala avec sa base de crème de courgette était excellente. & une petite frite avec ça, le tout arrosée d'une pinte de Svetly Vicepni (inspiration tchèque) puis une autre de Beau Bien (d'inspiration franconienne). Un petit cortado'nouvelle vague' pour conclure le tout. Le tout était parfait surrout grâce au service sympathique, cordial & efficace de Pierre & Sarah 🙌🏼😊

Pour une première fois là-bas pas grand chose a dire que du positif il faisait beau terrasse extérieure bien entretenu, personnel très sympatique & variété rafraîchissante dans le menu 👍🏽😎🍹🍸🌸
Honestly, I have no complaints about the drinks or the vibe, both were ok. But the service was incredibly disappointing.
When I first ordered with two of my friends, they received their drinks, but mine never came. After waiting for 20 minutes & following up, I was told (without any apology) that they no longer serve that drink!!
Shockingly, the same thing happened twice more when more friends joined us. Each time, the server waited 20-30 minutes before letting us know that the drink wasn't available.
I genuinely don't understand why this information wasn't given at the time of ordering.
Unfortunately, I won't be returning.
Food was nicely presented but.....our ceviche was scarce & lacked the traditional lemon punch we are used to in South America (ceviche started in Peru 🇵🇪 ).
The burrata with beetroot was beautiful but...weak on flavor.
The cider was cold & delicious.
Service is nice & helpful with the beverages, also with directions & where to go.
Prices are right.
Place parfaite. Les bières sont excellentes, le service pareil & la nourriture est faite par des gens qui aiment manger. Ça se sent. Il n'y a pas que de la bière en choix d'alcool ce qui permet d'amener nos amis qui préfèrent autre chose à boire. Option en sans alcool aussi intéressante.
La terrasse rajoute un plus & il y a quand même beaucoup de places. Par contre ça se remplit vite.

Une belle & bonne brasserie Montréalaise. La carte des bières plaira à tout le monde avec aussi un large choix de spiritueux. Les plats sont simples mais excellents, parfaits pour accompagner une dégustation. La terrasse permet d'apprécier l'été, mais l'endroit est généralement bondé.
I find it absurd to charge 19 dollars (before tax etc) for a plate with literally 4 pieces of fried chicken, there is no addition that would make it'gourmet' or so. The staff was anyway very kind & careful
Excellente nourriture & service amical. La popularité de l'endroit fait malheureusement en sorte que c'est un peu bruyant & difficile de s'entendre. Mais je recommande fortement.
