Isle de Garde comes across as a beloved neighborhood brewery with an outstanding and varied beer list, including European styles and a strong range of non alcoholic options, paired with solid food that spans burgers and fries to mac and cheese and tartare; the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, the terrace is a plus, and staff are frequently praised for friendliness and attentiveness. Yet popularity can bring crowds that make the space loud and the service feel rushed or less attentive at times, and a few guests note prices can be high or that vegan options are limited. Overall the venue earns high marks for beer quality, consistency when not overwhelmed, and a friendly vibe that makes it a go to for beer and eats, with many returning and favorites like the burger and certain dishes highlighted, while occasional service hiccups during peak hours remind of the challenge of balancing volume and guest experience.
Lovely selection of beers, nice selection of menu items for veg + non veg, plus a bustling fun vibe. Clearly a spot people love to hang, considering the terrible torrential rain on the night we visited!
Quelle belle place! Bières, vins & vins sakés. Une ambiance agréable, grand, mais réservé ou arrivé tôt! Des bons petits plats, des frites délicieuses!

Some of the best food in the neighbourhood, the beer is all very well-made & delicious, & they have a good selection of other drinks if beer isn't your style!
Voilà un bar vraiment convivial situé dans un quartier pas mal cool qui ne cesse de s'embellir!
La terrasse est fort plaisante & le service est véritablement excellent! Le serveur Français super sympa qui m'a servi a travaillé vraiment fort pour m'offrir une belle expérience client. Je regrette de ne pas lui avoir offert une pourboire encore plus élevé!
Toujours un plaisir de retourner à l'Isle de Garde. La sélection de bières est géniale pour les personnes qui veulent en profiter. J'apprécie grandement le kombucha en fût.
Si tu es millénial à la recherche d'un endroit style brasserie dans Rosemont, porte une casquette ciele, est membre du MEC, ou dans un band avec des cheveux longs/artistes : cet endroit est pour toi. Le hamburger'Royal with cheese' est probablement le meilleur en ville, j'ai vraiment aimé la portion & étant sobre je suis content d'avoir découvert une belle bière sans alcool (0.05) aux bleuets.

One of my favorite places for beer & food in Montréal. The beer selection is incredible & their european style beers like English ales & their sours are very good. Their fries are a new classic & the fried chicken is top notch. Good friendly service too.
L'ambiance était géniale & la bière très fraîche - brassée sur place avec du malt européen. Il y a aussi beaucoup de choix sans alcool. Je recommande vivement !!

Un des meilleure poulets frits que j'ai mangé - & un choix de bière vraiment délicieuses. Difficile d'avoir une place si c'est pas en semaine tôt en journée, mais ça vaut le coup!
Isle de Garde holds a special place for us & has been so since we started regularly visiting in 2019 while on holiday in Montreal. My wife & I started off going there on dates & now we are a family of four on the patio for happy hour &'slush popo' from next door. Been a great destination in every iteration. Great beers, food & service. Great, accessible location. Nothing bad to say about this place at all.
