Sommes allés un dimanche soir. Avons commandé un menu table d'hôte & un à la carte. Mousse de foie onctueuse, gravlax exquis, calmars tendres, pâtes aux palourdes & vin blanc servies bien chaudes & palourdes dans leur coquillage, agneau du Québec à la cuisson parfaite, crèmes caramels d'une belle texture. Portions généreuses. Service attentionné. Décor chaleureux, distance raisonnable entre les tables (votre voisin ne pourra pas piger dans votre assiette) & des nappes sur les tables (denrée rare aujourd'hui!) Bref on s'est régalés & on a passé une très belle soirée. Première fois à ce resto mais non la dernière.
Je vais au Il Martini depuis plusieurs années, & c'est un restaurant que je connais bien. J'adore l'ambiance qui me donne l'impression de manger dans une maison chaleureuse de Saint-Bruno. Au niveau du menu, la qualité des repas est excellente. Je prends toujours le même plat quand j'y vais: pâtes aux palourdes, sauce au vin blanc 👌 Je ne suis jamais déçue & je me régale. Ma seule déception : lors de ma dernière visite, j'ai demandé au propriétaire Alexandre si je pouvais avoir le plat de pâtes aux palourdes en table d'hôte (ce qui m'avait déjà été accordé par le passé). Il m'a sèchement répondu que non, ce n'était pas possible. Sa façon de me répondre était hautaine, voire impolie. Au moins, l'excellent service de Taylor a su compenser pour l'impolitesse de son supérieur. Je retournerai quand même au Il Martini, car c'est dans mes restaurants italiens favoris 😋
Went with the whole family for my 65th. Usually we have a good experience at this restaurant but not this time. After having been greeted by a snobby host & were seated we then waited for 20 minutes & had to get up to go ask for menus. The cocktails were excellent & thus the 2 stars. Oysters were served warm. Caesar's salad was warm. Tagliatelle au canard had almost no canard, was fettuccini not tagliatelli & the dish was very watery. Filet of pork dish was not the filet. When we communicated this to the waiter & the host we were made to feel like we were a little too captious. ? Warm oysters? Warm salad? No duck in the duck tagliatelli. We're being too critical ? It almost felt like we were being served left overs as we were one of the last tables to be served that night. To top it off, my kids asked the waiter for a candle on my dessert to celebrate my birthday. & ..... drum roll .... no candle! It will be a very very very long time before we return to Il Martini.
J'ai demandé un cappuccino décaféiné qui ne l'était pas, puisque je n'ai pas fermé l'oeil de la nuit! Un non-respect du client qui doit être signalé!!!
The moment you walk in they make you feel like you are a VIP. Old fashion, top notch service that is hard to find these days. The food is always fresh, diversified & meticulously prepared. All this with an excellent wine list to go with it. So happy to have this amazing restaurant in my neighborhood!
