They are the most lovely couple & owners of a sushi takeout restaurant. The owners are very friendly & they genuinely care about their customers. The sushi are DELICIOUS & very fresh & their creations are bomb!! Make sure you read the info on their website to order.
C'est de loin la meilleure place d'Ahuntsic! C'est vraiment bon, le poisson est frais, les proprios sont super gentils & les plateaux sont vraiment beaux ! 10/10👌🏻
Commande pour un groupe samedi passé & tout était absolument parfait! De la présentation au gout, c'était impeccable. Même pas besoin de sortir les sushis des contenants tellement c'était beau & déliceux. On recommande sans hésiter!! & merci à la jeune fille sympathique à qui j'ai parlé pour ajuster notre commande :)
We live about 6 streets away from this little gem of a restaurant but did not discover it until we were looking for a sushi place to celebrate my husband's retirement this last week. The reviews were wonderful & I saw the the owner personally wrote back to each reviewer, often calling them by name, & thanking them for their review. That is the level of personal care & service that shone through every aspect of Ikigai Sushi from the first interaction to the delicious food & beautiful detailed presentation, dotted with flowers. The owners were so very welcoming, the sushi was so fresh & of high quality, & the portions were generous. The shashimi just melted in one's mouth. We really enjoyed the variety of color, texture & ingredients & just wanted to take our time & savour each piece. We will definitely return. !Chapeau to the owners!... & deep gratitude for creating such a caring, creative & excellent offering in Ahuntsic.

Manger chez Ikigai est une expérience transcendantale. On en ressort un meilleur humain. On révise nos objectifs de vie. On se dit que c'est pas possible des propriétaires gentils de même; du genre qui se rappellent de la date de naissance de ton chien. Quand je serai grand, je veux devenir comme Yvon.
Had a magical experience at this place. Not only are the owners kind, amazing, genuine, skilled & just generally fantastic human beings, the food is legit, the presentation is stunning & the service is world class.
We used to be regulars at Mikado's St Denis before it closed, & my dad found this place randomly, not knowing that the chef used to work there. We have been chasing that experience ever since It closed down, but I daresay Ikigai improved on something that was part of my family for 15 years & made it their own.
My dad was over the moon with the order tonight for his BD, & my dad is extremely picky with sushi.
We will be returning, the owners have my gratitude. I feel like we found a long lost treasure that got better with time.

Super service ! Les deux proprios sont vraiment gentils, & on a eu de super belles discussions pendant l'attente. Les sushis sont excellents - honnêtement parmi les meilleurs que j'ai mangés 🤤 - & en plus, c'est vraiment pas cher. Je recommande sans hésiter !
