Enjoy authentic Vietnamese cuisine in a lively but relaxed atmosphere. Following the same concept as the location on Victoria in Montreal for over 10 years. Hoai Huong is known for its unique Vietnamese taste and refined cuisine.
The grills on charcoal, soups and dishes of different regions of Vietnam all on the same menu for you.
Hoai Huong is synonymous with "nostalgia for our country" in Vietnamese. A healthy cuisine concept adopted by the culture of here with a nostalgic flavor. Welcome to all and don't forget to bring your own wine!
Hoai Huong draws a mixed but largely positive consensus for its authentic Vietnamese fare, with several reviewers raving about the rich beef pho and a fragrant broth, generous portions, and favorites like imperial rolls, beef wrapped in betel leaves, and a marinated pork dish. The menu also features dishes beyond Vietnamese staples, including pad thai and a famous rice in marmite, and gluten-free options are noted as a plus. On the downside, some plates disappoint, such as a bland chicken general tao and main dishes that feel pricey for the quality, with at times sauce or seasoning that falls short. Service is praised for friendliness and attentiveness when it runs smoothly, but can be uneven, with reports of a single server handling orders and occasional delays or distractions from the dining room. A few visits mention sensory drawbacks, like a smell near the entrance or a noisy table, and there are comments about the atmosphere swinging depending on the night. Overall, Hoai Huong stands out for its flavorful, comforting bowls and fresh ingredients, encouraging return visits to explore more of the menu.
Went there as a party of 9 10 days ago. Excellent dining experience. The service was excellent. All the dishes were delicious. Will definitely go back! 😋😋😋

We were initially greeted by staffs that didn't seem really welcoming but our waitress was very friendly & smiling throughout our meal. The interior decorations are a lot fancier than the common Viatnamese restaurant & it was a pleasant change in my opinion. The dimer lighting, the low background music & the fancy table settings made the dining experience so much better. The food itself was tasty. The soup I had was flavourful, the toppings were very generous & the ingredients were all really good in quality. I do however feel like the portions of noodles & rice are really too small & the extra portions are 2$ each for the bowls of rice. The grilled chicken was also lacking a bit in grilling flavours but the rest of the food was pretty good. The average price is acceptable but the portions once again for the rice & the noodles are a bit small. The toppings do compensate for it though.
