Review Summary

Hoai Huong draws a mixed but largely positive consensus for its authentic Vietnamese fare, with several reviewers raving about the rich beef pho and a fragrant broth, generous portions, and favorites like imperial rolls, beef wrapped in betel leaves, and a marinated pork dish. The menu also features dishes beyond Vietnamese staples, including pad thai and a famous rice in marmite, and gluten-free options are noted as a plus. On the downside, some plates disappoint, such as a bland chicken general tao and main dishes that feel pricey for the quality, with at times sauce or seasoning that falls short. Service is praised for friendliness and attentiveness when it runs smoothly, but can be uneven, with reports of a single server handling orders and occasional delays or distractions from the dining room. A few visits mention sensory drawbacks, like a smell near the entrance or a noisy table, and there are comments about the atmosphere swinging depending on the night. Overall, Hoai Huong stands out for its flavorful, comforting bowls and fresh ingredients, encouraging return visits to explore more of the menu.

Ordered online, which was easy & fast. The service was good & fast! While entering the restaurant, there was a funny smell between the entrance doorways... Once in the restaurant it was pretty clean & i was greeted quickly. Food wise, i ordered the pad thai & spring rolls. The pad thai was bland & had only 2 shrimp. Spring rolls were decent, nothing more. It's a bit pricy, 20$ for 2 shrimp pad thai & a few morsels of chicken tossed with a handful of lettuce & a few undercooked peppers. The food doesn't taste bad, but doesn't taste much.

The dishes were all quite good. Spring rolls were excellent. Seems to close early. Nine-ish or so.
