We had a great experience! The service was very kind & patient especially because I tried to practice my French with them. 🙈 However, they always showed willingness to speak & never made us feel uncomfortable in any way. The bagels were super delicious & I highly recommend the place. 🫶🏼
I was served by Hugo he was very accommodating, courteous & processed my unique sandwich order. I ordered a Toasted Everything Bagel with Scrambled Eggs, Bacon, Cheddar Cheese, & Peppers. I also use a Double Cappuccino with Vanilla Extract. The price was quite reasonable, the total cost was $16.29. However the sandwich was quite small for that price, but delicious & fresh!
I was looking for a quick espresso, & stumbled upon this cafe! I got the espresso double shot with the Bacon Jam! Incredible espresso & amazing bagels, this a great breakfast spot. Really fast service as well.

The New York bagel was juicy, with a delightful texture that felt both fresh & satisfying. On the other hand, the Montreal bagel was a smoky dream, perfect for lovers of smoked meat. It's a flavor that lingers & leaves you wanting more.
A highlight of our visit was the special Valentine's Day red bagel paired with cream cheese. It was a fun twist on the traditional, offering a subtle sweetness. While enjoyable, we felt the red velvet cake could use a bit more refinement in flavor-it didn't quite hit that cake-like perfection we were hoping for. However, it's still worth trying if you're in the mood for something seasonal.
The space itself was charming & well-decorated for Valentine's Day, with a mural depicting Montreal, which beautifully ties into the bagel culture. Service was excellent-friendly staff who were happy to guide us through the menu & explain the ingredients in the sandwiches. This level of care made the experience feel special.
Price-wise, they offers great value. The portions are generous, especially considering the deluxe bagel sandwiches, & with specials like the Valentine's Day two-for-one deal, it's hard not to leave satisfied.

Came from Toronto & wanted to try some of Montréal's most famous bagels. This place did not disappoint, & we savored every bite. Really nice workers & atmosphere.
Happened to pop in for a bagel while I was out for a walk with my dog, & am I sure glad I did! I got the petit Quebec bagel & it was delicious. Service from Nafaa was fantastic. He was so friendly & welcoming! I ended up stopping in on my way out of Montreal to pick up a dozen bagels to go. The prices are extremely reasonable & the quality is comparable to the more well known bagel shops in Montreal.
Mahad & Avdel are so kind & very informative & explained everything we wanted to know! Everything is homemade, even the creme cheese. The bagels are the best & the service was amazing! We will recommend Hinnawi to all our friends & family visiting Montreal!
Bagel specials of the day are great & espresso is excellent! I have a at home espresso maker now so routinely look for good espresso when I'm out, it is here :)
They have some really interesting bagel sandwiches here. The bagels we got (Toronto & New York) weren't bad but my New York was kind of dry & my friends bagel barely had chicken in it. Ordered drip coffee & hot chocolate which were ok but not spectacular or too special. Really chill place & it wasn't busy at all, so it's a calm cafe with a good vibe
