Very nice place, friendly personnel & excellent service. We had filet mignon for two, but it could easily feed 3 adults. Served in cast-iron bowls that kept it hot for a long time. Moderate prices, excellent mojito.
C'est tellement bon & tout ce que nous choisissons, nous n'en laissons aucune miette. Bravo au chef! Un hic, ne plus faire fonctionner le broyeur à glace au bar, trop bruyant pour les clients assis à l'avant 😞
The food was decent, so was the service. Good but nothing special. Be careful if you go eat outside on the terrace because it smells like garbage (literally). We asked to switch table thinking there were garbage disposals under us because the smell was disgusting, but it was even worse on the other side. I know it's not their fault but you still have to keep that in mind. Ask to eat inside.
Nous avons adoré notre souper en famille. La nourriture est excellente & le goût est le même que celui des plats du resto de Sherbrooke. Je recommande.
L'endroit est super agréable. La musique typique mexicaine 100% & les plat tout simplement délicieux. Nous avons commandé enchiladas en salsa roja, tacos al pastor, fajitas crevettes & cochinita qqch. Je recommande à 100%. Ah! Le service aussi impeccable :) si j'avais plus d'argent j'aurais donné 50% de pourboire :)
Great cozy restaurant. Our waiter was super friendly, knew the menu like he created it, recommended great options for our preferences & I really liked the Mixiote Carnero. Appreciated my visit.
Aucun accueil lorsque nous sommes arrivés. Les membres du service ont à peine levé les yeux alors que nous cherchions notre table, & le restaurant était pratiquement vide. Sur la terrasse, des cerises au marasquin dormaient sur le bar extérieur, attirant une centaine de guêpes, tous les employés ont passé des commentaires sur la situation mais rien a été fait, vraiment embêtant pour les clients d'une aussi belle sur la terrasse. La nourriture était fade, le menu n'est pas élaboré, heureusement que les drinks y sont bons. On aurait dit que le lieu n'avait pas vu le.la gérant.e depuis longtemps tant il y avait du laisser aller.
Walked in, no greeter so walked to a table, was yelled at to wait by the door. Seated in dark hallway, ordered chicken fajitas for two. Watched kitchen staff retrieving a large bag of pre cooked pre sliced chicken from the back & go into the "kitchen". The cast iron serving platter was not hot, the peppers an onions raw nothing had any color from actual cooking save the chicken, that had the same "grill marks" as when it was in the pre packed bag. Only sides where white rice, black beans & premade guac, no salsa at all, & no lettuce, no tomatoes. The "restaurant" seemingly cooked nothing, just plated Sysco produced product. Rather unimpressive & far overpriced for what it is. Cook fresh food or close.
Arrachera pour 2 : généreux & délicieux. Eau d'orchata rafraîchissante. Vraies tortillas faites maison : parfaites. Cuisine & décor authentiques, bon service. Terrasse sur la rivière. Merci à notre amie de nous avoir suggéré ce resto incontournable de Magog ! Mon conjoint & moi sommes ravis, nous y retournerons !

Le Mexique à Magog, terrasse & palmier inclus ! Bravo aux équipes en cuisine & au service. Le sourire était sur les visages & dans les assiettes, goûts & saveurs inclus. Bravo & merci pour ce beau moment gustatif.
Second visit here, the food is still good but the service has dropped considerably. TLDR: food is good when prepared properly, service quality is poor being ignored nearly the entire time & receiving food nearly an hour after ordering while others ordered & ate despite arriving after us. Don't recommend for the service but food is good & the terrace is nice. Restaurant was at maybe half capacity when we arrived & were seated for 30mins before being asked for our order, an entree of taquitos dorados came after 15mins with 2/3 rolls full of nothing but plain mashed potatoes & the last stuffed with only chicken. Waited another 35mins for our main course of nachos & tacos, the carnitas tacos were great, gf's nachos were okay. Waitress was more occupied with visiting the table her friends were at then checking in on us, only came twice during our dinner, once to pick up the entree plate that had been empty for 15mins on the edge of the table & to ask if we wanted more drinks, then again when we had literally just received our main course not even having taken a bite to ask if everything was to taste. The tables with her friends & another with a family of 4 both arriving after we had already ordered & been waiting over 10mins, received & finished their meals before we received a thing. The waitress didn't check in to explain or apologize for the delays in the kitchen although she had the time to chit chat with her friends & other staff the vast majority of our stay. Willing to give the benefit of the doubt to the kitchen for the slow speed but the service & communication from the wait staff leaves much to desire.
