On hésitait à y aller compte tenu des derniers avis Google négatifs... On a été agréablement surpris! On a pris la table d'hôte & tout était très bon, les saveurs étaient au rendez-vous. Le restaurant était plein & ça demeurait calme, le service était rapide & très agréable. La guacamole était savoureuse & fraîche, le porc effiloché était un vrai régal, & j'ai eu un coup de coeur pour les tostadas. Les sauces piquantes sont faites maison & étaient délicieuses (attention en petite quantité!). Belle découverte.
Groupe de 11 personnes, toutes individuelles, pas de couple.
L'entré & le repas étaient super bon. Les breuvages aussi.
Points négatifs : ça prit 1h15 avant d'avoir nos entrés. Les breuvages sont tellement remplis qu'ils débordent. Les verrs sont donc collant. Une amie en a eu un peu dans le dos. On a eu nos factures à la fin sans se faire demander si on voulait un café ou dessert.
On nous a assigné à une table sale, lorsque demander de la nettoyer, il a fallu s'y reprendre à 2 fois pour qu'elle soit à peu près propre & ont nous a fait sentir que l'on dérangeait.
Par la suite, on nous a ignoré, il a fallu courir après une serveuse pour qu'elle prenne notre commande. A partir de ce moment l' attente à été un peu plus d'une heure avant de recevoir nos plats. Un plat décevant quant à la portion & l'autre très bon.
Un churros nous a été offert comme compensation pour le désagrément du service & l'attente.

La nourriture & les boissons étaient bonnes, mais vraiment, plus d'une heure s'est écoulée entre l'entrée & le plat principal!!! Pas un mot d'excuse, pas d'offre de compensation, & le resto n'était pas plein!
Une table de 8 très insatisfaite, qui ne reviendra certainement jamais!
J'ai eu la chance de visiter ce restaurant récemment & franchement, c'était une expérience que j'ai adorée du début à la fin. Dès notre arrivée, le service était super : le personnel était attentionné & très sympathique, & l'ambiance sur la terrasse était parfaite pour relaxer & profiter du moment.
J'ai commandé un mixiote qui m'a vraiment impressionné. Le goût était riche, bien assaisonné, avec une touche maison qui te donne presque envie de dire merci à chaque bouchée. Vraiment un plat qui réchauffe le coeur.
Mon ami a pris des tacos, & ils étaient tout simplement délicieux. La viande était cuite à la perfection, & les sauces qui l'accompagnaient faisaient toute la différence.
Pour boire, on a choisi des micheladas, & wow… elles étaient excellentes ! Rafraîchissantes, bien équilibrées, servies comme il faut.
Bref, une super belle expérience : bouffe savoureuse, service top & une ambiance agréable sur la terrasse. Je le recommande sans hésiter, & c'est certain qu'on y retourne.

We visited Guacamole y Tequila as a family & had a great experience. We had made reservations in advance, & although the restaurant wasn't too busy, we appreciated the smooth seating process. It was a bit windy that day, so we opted to dine indoors.
We started with a plate of nachos . Absolutely delicious & a hit with both the kids & my husband. My son ordered from the kids' menu & really enjoyed his meal. I had the enchiladas, & I was pleasantly surprised - they were flavorful but not overly heavy or creamy like at some places, which I appreciated. My husband & daughter both had the pork with banana leaf & really enjoyed it.
For dessert, we all had churros. A sweet way to end the meal. The cocktails, however, were the real standout. They were the best we've had in Magog. My daughter & I had daiquiris, & my husband had a mojito.
Service was quick & very friendly. Our waitress was welcoming & even offered to take a family photo, which was a lovely gesture.
Délicieux. Goût frais des aliments. Portion généreuse. Excellent service. Belle terrasse sur l'eau. & surtout, il est possible d'y manger si on est allergique aux arachides.
Beautiful terrace, excellent service. However as others have reported the food lacked flavour. Quac was cold, no salt or citrus. Steak fajitas & fish tacos, both no flavour. I even got a few pieces of octopus in in fajitas (???) & a few green peas (???). Service was excellent however, i was given a discount on meal. Fix whats happening in the kitchen!!!
Malheureusement c'était un resto que nous aimions aller. Les entrées nous ont très déçue. 5 mini crevettes trop pannées & trop cuites. Guacamole qui goûte rien. Margarita avec peu ou presque pas de sel autour du verre malgré demander. & en plus nourriture pas chaude. Pour cent cinquante dollars jeté au poubelles. Changer de cuisinier.
We enjoyed sitting out on the patio-it was a beautiful day, & the outdoor setting was genuinely pleasant. Unfortunately, that was the highlight of an otherwise disappointing dining experience.
For a Mexican restaurant, the margarita was surprisingly disappointing - easily one of the worst I've ever had. It was overly sweet & tasted like it had been made with a cheap, store-bought mix. The bartender appeared quite young & inexperienced, which may have contributed to the poor quality. In fact, the drink was so off-putting that we ended up ordering a shot of tequila just to try to balance the taste - but even that didn't help.
The food was mediocre at best. I ordered the chicken fajitas, which came smothered in cheese - an odd choice that didn't add anything to the dish. Overall, the food lacked flavor & seasoning, leaving us underwhelmed.
Service was passable, but when we expressed our concerns about the drinks, we were met with a shrug & no offer to remedy the situation, which was disappointing.
In the end, the experience didn't leave us with any reason to return. When I ask myself,'Would I come back?' - the answer, at least for now, is no.
Tacos had a decent amount of meat in them but were fairly dry & flavourless. We think they forgot to put sugar in our lemonade - it tasted like just lime juice & water. Our meal was incredibly expensive for what we got.
