Gourmeyeur provides high quality food with a selection of exceptional tartares that are often described as the best available. The BEST butcher in the greater Montréal area, it's not even close. Very pricey, but you will never regret it. The quality, consistency & diversity of meats & cuts is astonishing. Any meat or cut of meat you could possible want, is here, & in its BEST iteration. Every detail is meticulously thought out & executed. The experience is high end, without being pretentious The shop is ALWAYS surgically clean. The service is always warm, friendly & competent. The butchers are experts & aren't shy to thoughtfully answer your inquiries. Even the packaging is of very high quality, so is the awesome paper bag they give you. If you want to occasionally splurge on a nice piece of meat, this is the place. If you live within an hour of this place, it's well worth the trip. If you happen to be of a higher socio-economic status, & care about WHERE your meat comes from, it's quality & how it has been handled & processed, you should exclusively buy your meat from Gourmeyeur. Low-key tip: Pick up your boeuf-haché from here. It's $20+/kg, but it is well worth it. They freshly grind the beef to order. I usually order a few 500g + 750g packs. You can request your preferred fat % & they perfectly vacuum pack it, perfect to through into the freezer for future use. PS; Don't be off put by the rapid color change, they don't put red food dye like all other butchers do.

J'ai commandé le tartare le bison, l'entrée de salade japonaise & le moelleux & coeur fondant au chocolat noir & sérieusement WOW!!! Tellement bon 10/10 meilleur tartare, la vinaigrette & fraicheur de la salade wow & que dire du dessert :O. J'écris rarement des avis mais je voulais le souligner car j'ai été plus que satisfaite!! Je recommande!!

Toute une expérience !!! C'était en juin dernier. Pour fêter les 40 ans de ma copine, j'ai été voir les gens de Gourmeyeur à Laval. J'ai choisi le service de traiteur à domicile avec du personnel sur place & j'ai choisi aussi la formule avec cocktails dinatoires. ( chaud & froid) Au menu, ils ont beaucoup de choix, des tartares ( leurs spécialités ), des brochettes, des amuse-gueules aux fruits de mer ... Bien sûr, il faut choisir à l'avance ce que vous désirez avoir, entre 10 & 12 choix dans notre cas. Ce qui m'a marqué & qui va rester dans nos souvenirs, c'est de voir arriver chez soi du personnel habillé de façon impeccable, poli & serviable. Pendant que l'on était assis sous le chapiteau dans la cour, il y avait un cuisinier qui préparait les bouchées & un autre qui venait nous les porter à notre place. & il s'occupait aussi du service de boisson. Tout cela s'est fait dans la bonne humeur & sans stress. Ils arrivent vers les 16h30 & repartent quand les convives sont comblés & repus. Merci à Jérôme & à toute son équipe.
J'y suis aller pour le lunch je trouve la portion plutôt petite pour 18$ sans accompagnement sije prend la salade en accompagnement ma facture à grimper à 32$ le service laisse à désirer la serveuse étais à la boutique de l'autre coter honnête le tartare étais bon voilà pk je vous donne 3 étoiles
Produits & plats de grande qualité. Le menu de tartare & superbe. Beaucoup de choix, excellents. Tellement supérieur à tout autre "grand" restaurant où vous payerrez beaucoup plus cher. . Sans oublier les fondants au chocolat.... Félicitations à Jerôme & son équipe
Je suis allé manger avec des copines tout étais très bon nous avons esseyer les tartares le carpaccio de boeuf & thon rouge cetais incroyable frai & bon nous avons eter servis par Maxime très amical & souriant 😁 je recommande
