The BEST butcher in the greater Montréal area, it's not even close. Very pricey, but you will never regret it. The quality, consistency & diversity of meats & cuts is astonishing. Any meat or cut of meat you could possible want, is here, & in its BEST iteration. Every detail is meticulously thought out & executed. The experience is high end, without being pretentious The shop is ALWAYS surgically clean. The service is always warm, friendly & competent. The butchers are experts & aren't shy to thoughtfully answer your inquiries. Even the packaging is of very high quality, so is the awesome paper bag they give you. If you want to occasionally splurge on a nice piece of meat, this is the place. If you live within an hour of this place, it's well worth the trip. If you happen to be of a higher socio-economic status, & care about WHERE your meat comes from, it's quality & how it has been handled & processed, you should exclusively buy your meat from Gourmeyeur. Low-key tip: Pick up your boeuf-haché from here. It's $20+/kg, but it is well worth it. They freshly grind the beef to order. I usually order a few 500g + 750g packs. You can request your preferred fat % & they perfectly vacuum pack it, perfect to through into the freezer for future use. PS; Don't be off put by the rapid color change, they don't put red food dye like all other butchers do.
