Review Summary

Fondue de Pékin is described as a generous all you can eat fondue destination with fast, friendly service and a welcoming owner couple, where many diners praise the quality of the food and the wide selection of meats, shrimp, vegetables and sauces that come with the broth based experience. Prices are often cited as very good value, with particularly appealing options on Sundays, and the restaurant is noted to be popular with repeat customers. Some reviewers warn that the broths can be very spicy and not suitable for those who dislike heat, while others mention that broth flavor can be lacking at times. A few comments point out that some meats and seafood may be frozen, which can extend cooking time and affect texture. The service is described as attentive, though a language mix in staff is noted, with occasional small gaps in French. The ambiance is described as spacious and pleasant but sometimes a bit dull, and some guests mention repetitive background music and occasional missing items from orders, as well as not enough dessert variety. Overall, Fondue de Pékin remains a reliable, family friendly option in Brossard that many would return to.

First time trying Chinese hot pot & it was delicious! So many different broths to choose from, followed by all you can eat of different beef, chicken, & fish that you cook in the broth.

Staff was very helpful in explaining different dishes & how to prepare them. So if you're not sure about a dish, just ask the staff.

A great first time experience!

If I could, I would have given this place a three & a half stars.

The food was alright & fresh, & there were a lot of items to choose from. I was not crazy about the broths, but that could just be the broths we chose. The broths are really what makes the meal so choose wisely.

The staff had to help us place our orders as we had difficulties navigating the online menu. It was a nice evening out with friends.

Highly recommended, the broth/ soupe was epic. The variety is good, & most importantly, they are fresh & affordable. Considering that the place isn't very big, they still managed to give us a spot for 1 & half hours. I would most certainly return there!

I usually get the curry broth, it goes amazingly well with the lamb slices & dumplings. There's not as much variety as some other hot pots I've been to but it's worth every penny, especially if you love lam

Best place I've ever tried for hot pot because it's cheaper than the other hot pot restaurants in Montreal, it's almost 40$ / person (tips included) There's a wide variety of options & I couldn't try them all even if I wanted (but that means I'll come back!) I wish the pot could be bigger especially when you're 2 eating with the separator because when it's boiling & someone's eating very spicy, it gets mixed easily with the other broth less spicy. The service was fast & the atmosphere was great as the room was really big! The only thing I will warn you about is to not choose the seats by the windows because it's cold in the winter ! We were so cold that we had to eat with our winter coat

Elegant & grand space. Food was acceptable, the meat was frozen but there were a lot of options, eg. frog legs, reticulum, omasum, chicken gizzard. I really enjoyed the selection of the broths & the quality. The vegetables were often cut too thick & inconsistent but had a nice pattern. Other food, like the fried chicken, fried dough sticks, fried tofu, were really poor in quality. They let you have self-service to make your own sauce, which I found interesting. There's not enough leg room at the tables, but partially understandable because there needs to be room to house the burner internals.
