The Falafel Yoni kiosk in the outside portion of Marche Atwater is just another smart addition to a collection of good eateries including Satay Bros ,a smoked barbeque unit,le petite Sao,fresh nuts & Smoothies. On a sunny warm day the vibe is great,people eating,diversity,romantic hustle & onlookers from the full time vendors eating & talking on the large number of clean benches & tables. The smell of the barbeque & in contrast the sweet smell of flowers & plants is oddly inviting during the early summer rush for garden adornment.
I knew of Falafel Yoni from reputation & my review of Pizza Toni. Both have the same owner.
Their Falafel pita,I believe,is Israeli style with lots of red cabbage,onion,fresh Falafel balls,chick pea sauce served in a sizable pita pocket. Spiciness is according to taste & client specific at time of order .
Two things stand out of my recent experience. There was a wait line by number & 8 orders were filled within 10 minutes.
I also brought the pita sandwich home to share with my wife. The content is filling & when shared it can be a meal for 2 at $13
The only caveat is that the falafels were not evenly distributed & my wife got fewer balls than me on the divide of the sandwich

Excellent repas, meilleur falafel au monde! Les frites zahar sont croquantes & délicieuses super ambiance & service rapide, nous sommes accuieillis & guidés à travers le menus, je recommande sans hésitation, vaut le déplacement
I would have liked to have my pita warm, It was cold, but overall, it tasted good! The bad thing is that they don't have a bathroom. My previous visits in 2024 were better!

Amazing service from Quiana! The food is always fresh & super tasty. The sandwiches are well stacked & the hummus is so smooth & flavorful. The fries are full of crispies (that's a good thing) & the falafel machine is the coolest thing to watch working. Now. Let's talk about the cucumber salad. Never stop making it. It's the bomb! Fresh & crunchy. Keep up the good work!
I come to Verdun every few weeks & every time I come I have to go to falafel yoni. The falafel & sabich are unparalleled & the staff are always friendly! The fries are not the greatest, I'd skip them tbh. They come in too big a bag & often are soggy. When I get them I end up throwing half the bag out. Everything else about falafel yoni is unbeatable though
Ce petit établissement sert un délicieux sandwich falafel avec du pain fait maison. Je recommande également les pommes de terre au zaatar & les petites boules de chocolat. Une cuisine savoureuse à un prix abordable !

Toujours bin smattes, je commande souvent 10 falafels & ils en glissent 2-3 de plus. Pis les falafels sont vraiment bons & à ce prix là ça vaut plus la peine que les faire soi même :)

I can't say something wrong about this cafe. People work hard trying to cook nice food & the food is good. However, there are two points: 1. It is not hearty food. After half an hour you feel hunger again. 2. Overpriced, I suppose
