As always, the meal was delicious & beautifully presented if not a bit overpriced for the size of the meal. The server was very pleasant & professional. People were spaced far apart in accordance with COVID regulations, but the tables were still spaced as they have been in the past. I would wonder if tables would be left empty if more people were in the restaurant. My friend & l will definitely return.

Phenomenal service. It was out first time at a restaurant since covid. The setting & distancing was great, & we felt quite comfortable. The incredibly friendly service & going the extra mile made our day. Thank you.

I've been eating at Essence for years. Working downtown & happily situated right across the street from Essence, it was our favourite place for lunch. Then Covid-19 came. & we were away from our offices & the restaurant for many months. Now that we're back part time, looking out our office window we were delighted to see that Essence was opened. We excitedly booked our lunch yesterday. It was wonderful being back! The setup was professionally & beautifully done to keep us safe with social distancing intact. We were outside on the Terrace & it felt just like a most wonderful return to normal. & the food was delicious as it always was. Nd the staff were masked & politely keeping their distance.
I'm so happy we are back together in this new normal & look forward to many many more lunches in the near future!

J'ai été sur l'heure du midi. Service rapide.
J'ai pris comme entrée les calmars & le tartare de saumon & tous étaient bons.
Pour moi le tartare de saumon aurait dû être plus épicé. Je vais le demander à l'avenir.

I love to come to this restaurant, this was the actual first restaurant at took my future to be wife & since then we love this place.
Abeyance is nice staff very friendly overall a good experience.
Prices are very reasonable & portions are very generous.
This was actually the first time we took my son with us & he lost his experience, the waitress was very nice to him, he actually give her a tip because she was very nice to him.

Pour un jeudi, nous avons passé une très belle soirée, bonne bouffe, bon service. Les tables situées près de leurs belles grandes fenêtres sont particulièrement appréciées. Je le recommande.

Excellent restaurant & service impeccable!!
Il y a toujours de l'eau dans nos verres, du pain & du beurre dans le petit panier sur la table, sans compter que les repas sont franchement délicieux.
Les prix sont raisonnables & c'est un endroit parfait pour un lunch d'affaires ou un 5 à 7.
Je recommande définitivement.

J'ai pris la table d'hote: la soupe aux brocoli comme entrée, l'assiette de fruits mer dans un bouillon & un tartelette aux pommes. Toute ces plats étaient bon sauf pour le dessert qui était ordinaire. On a eu un rapide. La serveuse était à l'écoute & attentionnée. C'est ma deuxième fois & c'est certain que je vais y retourner.

Service un petit peu en retard. Reservations à 12:30 & service de notre repas à 13:15.
45 min pour une heure de lunch c'est beaucoup.
