We decided to try this place since we've been looking for a nice local Italian restaurant & everything was amazing. My fiancée had the veal parm with pasta & I had the Rigatoni alla Genovese & the fresh ingredients were flavourful & so tasty. The pasta that came with the veal parm was simple but it was so good, nice garlic flavour & the aglio e olio spaghetti was amazing & cooked perfectly. The Rigatoni alla Genovese had some pulled beef & together with the sauce, it was perfect. They grind an actual Parmigiano Reggiano at the table for you! None of that pre-grinded stuff, it was very good. For dessert, we had the pistachio cannoli & tiramisu & both were so good. Everything satisfied our cravings & we will definitely be going back.View more

Très beau restaurant, excellent à tous les niveaux. Petit reproche : plats limités dont une majorité base de porc, ce qui ne laisse pas bcp de choix à ceux qui n'en mangent pas. Peut être faudrait-il varier les viandes?

Nous avons eu l'occasion de nous arrêter boire une bière après une promenade dans le magnifique quartier où se trouve le restaurant, & j'ai vraiment l'intention d'y retourner. Ils proposent une excellente carte de pizzas & de petites entrées italiennes, une carte des vins & une bière unique, rafraîchissante. En été, nous profitions de la terrasse, mais il y a aussi un service en salle. Le parking est accessible & le service est exceptionnel. Nous y retournerons sans hésiter pour goûter d'autres plats. We had high hopes for Emilia Trattoria & Café, the food itself was actually decent, & the flavours were enjoyable. However, the hygiene situation was very concerning. The cutlery we were given looked dirty & felt like it hadn't been properly washed. This really put us off during the meal. To make things worse, we noticed a rat running through the bushes right next to where we were seated.Unfortunately, after dining here, everyone in our group experienced stomach issues & had to use the bathroom multiple times. It's disappointing, because with better cleanliness, this place could be a much more pleasant experience. Looking back, I really regret leaving a tip. This place has potential, but until they seriously improve their cleanliness & pest control, I cannot recommend it.View more

Lovely place very cute & romantic. The music is great & it is lovely on the terrace in summer. The food is incredible. It's hard to find really quality Italian restaurants in South shore & this is a gem even in comparison to many in Montreal. The veal is amazing the hand made pasta is to die for & I kid you not the tiramisu is EXACTLY how my mom makes it.
The rantings are high because the place deserves it. Props to the owners & the chef!
