Service is often described as professional, friendly, and knowledgeable, with thoughtful recommendations and warm hospitality. Some notes about decor feeling dated and prices being on the higher side, but the overall dining experience remains highly regarded. Overall Elounda is celebrated for high quality ingredients, diverse wine options, and a consistently memorable, welcoming Mediterranean dining experience.
We went to this restaurant as part of a work celebration dinner & boy, did this place exceed our expectations!
Their Greek salad was amazing, couldn't stop eating it! The tzatziki tasted fresh & perfect with the zucchini & eggplant fritters. The Saganaki was excellent too.
Being a vegetarian, I was made a special plate of spanakopita plus grilled vegetables. My coworkers tried the calamari & octopus appetizers & the lamp chops & sea bass for a main meal. Everyone was raving about the food.
Service was great, you can tell the servers & owner take a great pride in providing an excellent experience for their customers. Despite us being a group of more than 40 people, servers were nice & attentive.
When I am back in Montreal, I will definitely visit this restaurant again!
The food was exquisite & the service was good. The ambiance was nice but the restaurant would need a little makeover, it's a little on the old side. But that aside, you forget all about it when your plate arrives, it's tasty, fresh & delicious. I personally had the octopus plate & wow! It's was excellent. Others ordered the swordfish, calamari & shrimp elounda plate & every one had the same opinion. It's a little on the expensive side but I personally find it's worth every penny. I strongly recommend Elounda.
Exceptional food, service & atmosphere. We were 3 elementary school classmates who enjoyed every aspect of our evening. Thank you to the entire Elounda team.
Look the food is good but be ready to overspend its not worth the money you pay 40$ for one tail of lobster definitely wouldn't recommend if you're on a tight budget
Best resto in the city!
Some of the highlights include the octopus, swordfish , Chilean sea bass , lamb chops , fried zucchini & Greek salad but in all honesty , everything is amazing.
Special thanks to the owners & our waiters Peter & John. The service was exceptional!

If you're looking for an unforgettable dining experience in Montreal, Elounda Restaurant is an absolute must-visit! From the moment you step in, the warm ambiance & inviting atmosphere set the stage for an exceptional meal.
We started our culinary journey with the fried calamari & cold shrimp, which were perfectly prepared & bursting with flavor. The addition of fresh oil & balsamic vinegar, paired with warm pita, created an exquisite start to our meal.
The highlight, without a doubt, was the scallops-cooked to perfection & truly beyond this world. Each bite was succulent & rich, showcasing the restaurant's commitment to top-tier ingredients. The steak was equally impressive; seasoned & charred to perfection, it was a delightful combination of tenderness & flavor, beautifully complemented by a side of Greek rice. I found myself wishing for a bottle of Tabasco to enhance the experience even further!
To round off our feast, we indulged in the seafood pasta, which featured a luscious rose sauce & an abundance of fresh seafood. It was rich, comforting, & absolutely delicious.
Overall, Elounda Restaurant stands out not just for its incredible dishes, but for its dedication to quality & flavor. If you find yourself in Montreal, do yourself a favor & make a reservation-you won't regret it!
Absolutely loved our meal, everything was delicious! From the Greek Salad to the Special (fried zucchini, eggplant & saganaki) to the sea bass to dessert…perfectly prepared & yummy. Our waiter was the perfect combination of professional, friendly & helpful. The only small negative is the decor is dated & could use an upgrade to match the wonderful food. But that wouldn't stop me from going back, so consistently good.
What an INCREDIBLE find out here in saint Laurent. Catherine & her crew waste no time delivering an UNBELIEVABLY DELICIOUS culinary experience that is WORTH THE TRAVEL TIME no matter where in Montreal you are. Lunch is a deal! You ABSOLUTELY need to come eat here, it'll be a place you will want to return to! OPA!
With all the restaurants in Montreal I chose this restaurant for my 65th birthday. Although I hadn't been there in years my memory of having one of the best pieces of fish I ever had was there. As a pescatarian this was higher on my list. I suppose things have changed because I could no longer order a lovely fillet but had to buy a whole fish & there were none that were small enough to feed just one person. I pivoted to what I thought would be a tuna steak but ended up being tuna tataki & not many pieces. To be honest it was very underwhelming as I could get this pretty much anywhere. Wish I could have a do over but you only turn 65 once. After posting I received a response from Elounda inviting me to try again- no thanks, I have a list of other places that are now higher on my list. :)
All your reviews are 1-2 stars , and we have MANY many options of filets on our menu maybe you didn't bother to look ? We hope others will take your review with a grain of salt considering all the information and considering we have mostly only 5 star reviews , thank you
My absolute favourite restaurant if I want to treat myself & family, have been coming here since childhood & for events like birthdays. I call it the Milos of Saint Laurent. Never had a bad experience, never had anything that was not fantastic ; the food is beyond amazing, so authentic. Can get loud inside but its a function of everyone having such an amazing time.
