What an amazing experience at Elounda! We brought our parents here for their anniversary & really enjoyed our time. Our waiter Yannis (& all the supporting staff) took care of us as if we were family. We were a party of four & shared the Elounda Special (delicious crispy cheese, eggplant & zucchini slices lightly battered with their signature tzatziki sauce on the side). We tried their main meals of both fried & grilled calamari as well as their salmon & lamb chops/swordfish plates. The meals came with a side of salad with creamy dill sauce which we all really loved. The ambiance was warm, authentic & modern. Will 100% come back!
First time there ; I definetely recommend the grilled octopus salad; divine ( just as our waiter Peter advised)
Also, the fish is fresh & well cooked, lobster tail.
As a side dish I expected Greek potatoes; we got rice instead & it was bland, as were the veggies.
This is the best restaurant in Montreal & surrounding area. All the soups are delicious, the grilled calamari is the best I've tasted ever. The grilled lamb is also delicious. They only use olive oil & not cheap seed oils. The homemade sheeps feta cheese in the greek salad is amazing. They also have so many gluten free options- lots of keto & paleo options. They really pay attention to the quality of all the ingredients & dont cut corners, unlike most restaurants nowadays. Service is always the great too.

The seafood pasta with rose sauce pictured here was pretty good, it had mussels, shrimp & scallops, all very tender & not overcooked. There were also a lot of appetizers like Greek salad, fried calamari, octopus & later a nice dessert with coffee.
Dated family friendly restaurant with good service & high prices. The interior is in serious need of a refresh as it clearly is showing its age. The restaurant is 1 large open room so it was very noisy & I could hardly hear the person across the table from me. We were there on a Saturday night so it may be quieter at other times. The food quality was ok but not great. The greek salad was tasty but only came with 2 small cubes of feta cheese which was surprising for a $22 salad. The waiters were very attentive & refilled our water glasses often. Unfortunately, many of the fish on the menu were not available & all were listed as'market price'. The waiter told me that the sea bass was $46 so I ordered it but when the bill came, I was charged $70. Apparently that was the price per pound which I felt was a little dishonest. The rib steak was $92 which is excessive for this type of restaurant. The fries were very good & so was the saganaki cheese which was flambéd at our table.
We went to this restaurant as part of a work celebration dinner & boy, did this place exceed our expectations!
Their Greek salad was amazing, couldn't stop eating it! The tzatziki tasted fresh & perfect with the zucchini & eggplant fritters. The Saganaki was excellent too.
Being a vegetarian, I was made a special plate of spanakopita plus grilled vegetables. My coworkers tried the calamari & octopus appetizers & the lamp chops & sea bass for a main meal. Everyone was raving about the food.
Service was great, you can tell the servers & owner take a great pride in providing an excellent experience for their customers. Despite us being a group of more than 40 people, servers were nice & attentive.
When I am back in Montreal, I will definitely visit this restaurant again!
Best resto in the city!
Some of the highlights include the octopus, swordfish , Chilean sea bass , lamb chops , fried zucchini & Greek salad but in all honesty , everything is amazing.
Special thanks to the owners & our waiters Peter & John. The service was exceptional!
Absolutely loved our meal, everything was delicious! From the Greek Salad to the Special (fried zucchini, eggplant & saganaki) to the sea bass to dessert…perfectly prepared & yummy. Our waiter was the perfect combination of professional, friendly & helpful. The only small negative is the decor is dated & could use an upgrade to match the wonderful food. But that wouldn't stop me from going back, so consistently good.
