Love this place ended up eating here & loved it so much we ordered it for dinner later in our trip! The garlic bread is amazing & the pasta is incredible!!

Pastas are good but the salad was not good. Im not sure if they gave me the wrong sauce but it tasted more like burger sauce than ceasar. Plus there were green olives in the ceasar salad (?). Cherry tomatoes tastes old. It really did not work :( Don't recommend the salads!!
I am from out of town & they have some of the best pasta i have ever had, service was amazing & if i for some reason ever come back to montreal i will be eating here again thank you :)
We had Elpasta man cater our symposium & the pasta was amazing! Great staff, easy to work with, & quality food. Also, a great range of halal, vegetarian, meat, gluten-free & other inclusive options for everyone! Would definitely recommend & I will be ordering again/visiting soon!
We got El Pasta Man to cater our 4th Annual Scientista Symposium & everyone in attendance LOVED the pasta, especially the Alfredo & carbonara. Great option if you need help meeting dietary restrictions as well
Went here two or three years ago when visiting Canada for the first time. Ordered the Transparente & god it was so good I went back again on my short trip & ordered that & another pasta just so I could try it lol. Delicious although I could've used an extra portion of noodles to balance out the extreme flavor, but that's just me. I'm the type of person who eats a bite of food & then drinks half a glass of water or eats three bites of base anyway. Literally the best pasta I've ever had including in Italy. I still think about it lol & if I ever come back to Montreal I will absolutely be stopping here.
Found this place as it was close by, ratings were good & the family was cold & hungry! Very humble & clean place. Looks like they do more take out than dine in. You order at the cash as there's no real table service but the cashier was helpful & brought things over. We ordered a Caesar salad with grilled chicken, the Rosa penne with shrimp, El Blanco fettuccine & a burger.
Pro: son forgot to add cheese & pickles in his order & they threw it in for free ♥?
Con: pasta sauce was ok. Creamy, but not cheesy & lacked depth of flavour. A hit of lemon could help. Also, adding green onions to the pasta dishes is weird & did not complement the dish. I get the'green' but that's what parsley is for.
Next time when ordering: be sure to ask what's in the salad or burger. Nothing on the menu said the salad would contain tomatoes (in a Caesar?) or olives, & that the burger is made with mayo in it.
I can see why it's a good place for students & it's community needing a a hot decent meal at a good price.
The pasta was really good & very well priced. Takeaway service was smooth & fast. What stood out most was how attentive the staff were - they genuinely cared about my allergy, listened carefully, & made sure everything was handled properly. That level of care makes a big difference.
A good place to try pasta. Gateau was a good way to finish the meal. A small place but met with cheerful staff. Would recommend for people staying or visiting around downtown Montreal
Ordered for a second time because i found their pasta perfectly al dente n generous portion wise. They deliver fast. Sadly this time someone probably stole my order (i live in a condo project & asked to leave the order in the entrance) so i called them & Manny was quick to oblige & literally 10mins later beautiful Rokaya had delivered me the order again free of charge. True Xmas spirit 🤌🏻🎄✨✨✨ Thank you guys! You're amazing!!!
